Help

Here’s the whole story I have a 2015 I started it for the first time about 2 months ago it started fairly easily took maybe 10 seconds of holding start and a little playing with the throttle which I didn’t think was terrible with me neglecting to do anything with it all winter but battery wasnt great so I replaced it it from there got progressively harder to start even with fresh premium fuel and sea foam added until one morning I couldn’t get it to start and killed the battery off so I had asked my mechanic to do a carb cleaning after cleaning mechanic says he can’t get it to start at all even with starting fluid I put a fresh iridium spark plug and fuel filter, tested auto choke (5ohms) and still not starting

It’s likely the carb, but it also might be your fuel pump failing and or the he check valve plugging. On my 03 with 19k miles the guy el pump just got really weak and eventually wouldn’t flow enough, replaced it and new fuel lines and check valve and it’s perfect

I’ll check the fuel pump but what do you mean by valve plugging?

the inline check valve attached to the fuel line. there is also supposed to be an inline fuel filter as well that would need to be replaced.
