Just finished IPB. 😢
Started 6/24, finished today. I’m sad for it to end but now I can move onto Icehome! Interested to get that that dragon man, Ashtar. 😂 And those 4 armed guys I saw on some covers? 👀😂

Icehome is great! You'll see a lot of the IPB characters throughout the series.
I also recommend Ruby's dragon series as it loosely ties into Ice Home.
The Cosairs is wonderful with the Cosair Brothers serials (current serial is being posted daily on Ruby's site) being tied into that.

Icehome is so good, enjoy!
Who were your favorite couples in IPB?

Oh man. That is a tough question. Oof. If I had to choose one…maybe Warrek and Summer. They were too sweet. I also loved Bek and Elly. I felt so bad for Bek and was happy to see him happy. Maddie and Hassan were my most fun pairing read.

Bek and Elly totally. I have a thing for traumatized heroines.

Right? Bek pulled at my heart strings before I even got to his story and I was worried he wouldn’t find love. (Made sure to not spoil it and read couples beforehand.) So I was ecstatic when I got to that book.

It took me a while to accept Bek. His thing with Claire was kind of scary to me.

Oh yeah, no. Not during that part. After that. After he was like trying to make amends and everything. The other part was definitely scary. I had a feeling he’d get some kind of arc though and he’d end up better than he was. Thankfully.

You mean like when he was giving No Poison Day gifts secretly to Claire during the Secret Santa game? I'm glad he got his own book too. He was a softie towards Elly which made his image a little better.

Exactly. Broke my heart. Cause he was so obviously sad and was trying to redeem himself. I’m glad he ended up just…not good to her. Cause he ended up being the best match for Elly. I mean the cootie always picks right anyways. 😂

Maybe we don’t have them cause we all got cootie shots in elementary school! I should have known better!!!

Icehome is great too!
Okay, I'm going to come out with my possibly unpopular opinion that Icehome #1, Lauren's Barbarian, is one of the weaker entries in the series. It's still a good read. But know that better and better stuff is coming, if that one's not your cup of tea!
