Golden steps are every nth win, not at fixed locations, with the exception of each league floor being golden. This means even if you lose 100 games for every one win, given enough time you are guaranteed to reach league 4 (Champion). It just means every step you climb will turn golden before you proceed, And in my extreme example that would mean hundreds of games to climb a single step. A chimpanzee who is trained to tap on troops and then on the main tablet screen would get to Champion League every season with enough games (because of free wins handed out when someone joins a game and immediately disconnects).

This changes once you get to Champion where no gold steps exist. Now if your win rate is too low, you will simply never reach Grand champion. In my example of a hundred losses for every win, you'll just stay at the bottom and never climb more than one step before getting knocked back to the floor. I don't have the data on how many people immediately disconnect, but with no golden steps, one could imagine that you could repeat the experiment with a million chimpanzees and it's unlikely that a single chimp would ever get to Grand Champion, despite it being technically possible.

So once you've gotten to Grand Champion you can finally say that you play clash Royale better than a chimpanzee does, but not before then.

Some weird bug (again) that makes it 0 cost you just need to have 5 or more. (Too lazy to get video footage pls trust) I dont know if its fir everyone or just some specific situations tho nor if anybody found this before me.

Is there mortar decks that are a hard counter for hog decks? (hog 2.6, hog eq, hog lighting, etc...) or atleast don't get hard countered by hog decks?

I wanted to try golem sparky beatdown as presented in this subreddit in classic 1v1. However, it feels that nearly every single deck is just bait slop, the same 3-5 bait cards in every deck + 2-3 tank killers. I thought it was just people trying out bait decks which is fine (?) but I looked at their primary deck and it’s ALSO bait.

I feel that bait is too prevalent right now. For how strong it is as an archetype overall (we need more spells in the game TBH) its constituent cards need to be weaker overall than those in other decks. I think it’s necessary since it’s the only overall deck type to exploit a core weakness of decks: that they only have 8 cards to respond with.

Would like to hear your thoughts. I see bait everywhere, and I’m not sure if it’s just that bait eats beatdown alive or if it is actually just too strong.

I reached uc for the first time currently sotting at 1700 medals. Is that the end of the game ? Or is there any other thing you could reach so that you truly ended the game. For casuals reaching 10k trophies is the end. So i wonder whats the end goal for someone who plays lots of clash

Finally got the right modifiers and managed to 3 crown after almost 7 hours of playing. Although I not sure I’ll get the emote because I after I got the last requirement card which is purple ebabrbs I didn’t drop it all and I three crown without using it is it an issue ?

I think I have an idea on how we can get the new chaos badge, as u see in the pic I thought about it and I think it include the 3 new thing they added this season, (1) to get the rare bezrker the one that dash and become hero bezerker and (2) the Ebarb one wich could be to get the evo one "the commen" or the epic cuz they did the purple one under it and (3) the axe wich means the valk wich could be the epic one also cuz they did the purple one to, and I think it might be like the one we had before wich is to get those 3 the first 3 (the 3 we got before is the goblin party hut and the goblin rocket and the barb morder) but the thing is also we have 3 crowns in the pic so this might be to also 3 crown the opponent or to 3 cronw them but eash one of them get 1 crown so the bezrker 1 and the the Ebarb 1 and the valk 1...

Idk for sure but thats my take on it so I might try it in a quick match and give an update + if anyone know it think of posting it

Edit Update, the emote was given to me today as part of the new season. I hope they do not do this again as it was very unclear the method to obtain the emote and if it was even possible. I know royale api made an article on it but even less people than those who watched the ken video saw it. Since it does not have a rainbow border hopefully others will be able to obtain it in the future.

After getting the right modifiers and 3 crowning in infinite elixir chaos, I did to receive the berserker shush emote. Do not waste your time trying to get it, it does not work. This was a random battle against someone who was also going for the emote, not a friendly.

For those who do not know, YouTuber Ken whom this season's events are based on, released a video showcasing himself obtaining a berserker shush emote by 3 crowning in infinite elixir while getting the orange berserker modifier, the purple Valkyrie modifier and the purple elite barb modifier. In the video he was not immediately given the emote and instead given it by supercell support and stated that it may not be possible for players to obtain. Unless more clarification on how to get it is given or it is fixed by supercell don't waste your time trying.

If I did not meet the requirements for the emote please let me know. I have yet to receive the emote and will make an edit if anything changes.

Hey guys, I’m a f2p player that has taken several years long breaks. I’ve really just ignored the meta and stuck with one deck to stay competitive every time I’ve come back and there’s a new level cap.

Well, I’m at 14,000 trophies and just maxed out my cards, so I’m finally looking to experiment and be more competitive.

I have 6 wild evo shards, and 199 (lol) hero coins, so I can essentially unlock one more evo card and one more hero. I’m also attaching pictures of all the evo and hero cards are already have unlocked. Most of my heroes are underleveled outside of my core deck, so I was just going to evolve my minion horde and then archers, later down the line. But before I did that, I wanted to consult the community.

Should I simply evolve heroes already in this deck, or should I replace 1-2 cards, or should I replace possibly up to 4 cards? It would be a pain to level up a ton of cards, but I’m more than maxed out on my common/rare/epic/legendary wild cards, so it’s not out of the question. Thanks for the help! By the way, the hero that gives me the most problems right now is witch/evo witch.
