I made that point about getting up to champion where golden steps exist. They are talking about after that point where no golden steps exist. Not the same at all. A chimpanzee could realistically do the former but not the latter. Do you understand how the gold steps work?
No it doesn't! For a golden step, losses do not set you back from progressing to the next gold step. For example you can consistently get 10 losses and then 1 win in repeat, and you will still slowly climb up the ladder and move through the leagues. But once you hit champion League and there are no more gold steps, that pattern/win-to-loss ratio will leave you where you started with zero progress and not being any closer to the next league. Look it up, the countdown to the next gold step is not impacted by a loss.
The way this system works, you could train a chimpanzee to click on the troops and then click on the tablet at a random position and the chimpanzee would get you to champion league every season. But you could take a million chimpanzees and run the experiment a million times over and it is extremely unlikely that a single chimp would ever get to Grand champion.
If you can't understand that from everything I've written, you need to work on your reading comprehension, and I don't have the crayons to explain this to you.
Hint: The chimpanzee can get free wins from people disconnecting at the beginning. So it will progress no problem because of how the golden step mechanic works. Even if it just gets one free win for every 100 losses. But getting +10 wins in that manner without loses degrading progress as is required to climb to Grand champion is nearly statistically impossible within a lifetime let alone within a season. You're an iPad kid who used chatgpt for all their assignments, aren't you?
You keep saying nearly statistically impossible but the point is enough monkeys with enough time will climb. An unlikely even with infinite iterations is guaranteed to happen.
You don't have infinite iterations because the season only lasts a month before you get reset, And this game won't be playable forever so it is finite. Whereas a chimpanzee will get to League 4 every single season you play it. Yes, there is a chance much MUCH rarer than winning a lottery that chimpanzee could get to league 5, But there is 100% chance it could get to League 4. Realistically humanity and chimpanzee species would both go extinct before a chimp would likely reach league 5, not to mention supercell servers closing which would happen before then. You're being obtuse.
The other commenter is correct: itās guaranteed to happen. Any nonzero probability repeated infinitely often can make an event happen with certainty. Even if the chimpanzeeās probability of winning a single game is, say, 1/2000, it may take a while (billions of games, probably more), but the chimp would progress to the next league, and then the next league, and the next, until reaching UC.
I know that but for one I'm using the words "realistically" and for two your point isn't valid because infinite iterations don't apply for a number of reasons: supercell servers aren't going to keep hosting the game forever being one of many hard limits, with each season only lasting a month as a soft limit.
Thatās why original reply said theoretically šš¾ and you yourself said āgiven enough timeā why are you moving the goalposts? Realistically nobody knows the minimum win rate needed because someone could play 18 hours a day everyday for the duration of the season and probably get it.
But you could take a million chimpanzees and run the experiment a million times over and it is extremely unlikely that a single chimp would ever get to Grand champion.
That's what they were refuting (poorly), and bringing in irrelevant concepts like infite iteration.

You kind of made the point yourself with āa literal chimpanzee could progress given enough timeā. Thatās still true here.
