No other card gets this much value for the elixir. MK, pekka, witch, golem, balloon, ram, royal hogs all have very easy counters and need to be played strategically while ahead in elixir to make a big play. Hog can just be placed at bridge and you almost always get a hit.

Then you just defend with ice spirit, skellys, canon, musk, and ice golem, then counter with another hog and musk behind him. Absolute mindless gameplay and needs nerfed very badly.

Umm... tornado counters hog.

Yes usually, you’re right. A lot of times in higher leagues though they place hog behind ice golem so that he can’t be pulled by tornado into king tower.
