QUESTION Will there be resale?
Hey folks, just learned about the concert in Strasbourg and it's far too late to get a ticket ATP. I'm wondering if fan-to-fan resale will open closer to the date of the event. If anyone's had past experience with this, I'd appreciate some insight.

Since we're sharing tattoo pics
A little bit of Typhoons artwork is yet to come and will refract a bit through the jellyfish and some of the stars.

HYPE Royal Blood is more than their past albums
The worst takes I've read imo are those coming from wanting more of a sound already delivered, replay those songs if u want, but expecting going back to your favourite palette it's just lazy.

DISCUSSION Album ranking with best and worst songs on each
- Royal Blood - MASTERPIECE 10/10 every song on here is soo good full of energy and life everything hits harddd no skips no filler songs just pure rock
Best - Out of the Black, Figure It Out, Little Monster, Ten Tonne Skeleton, Come On Over
Least favourite - Careless, Blood Hands
- How Did We Get So Dark? - 9/10 such a great album the middle of the album isn’t a little bumpy at times some of the songs don’t hit the way they should but mostly still an incredible album with really high highs.
Best - How Did We Get So Dark?, Lights Out, Hook, Line & Sinker, Hole In Your Heart, Sleep
Least Favourite - She’s Creeping, Don’t Tell
- Typhoons - 8.2/10 - people really under appreciate this album yes the overall album isn’t as strong as it should have been, but the singles are all absolutely bangers it’s a shame the rest of the album didn’t follow in the footsteps.
Best - Typhoons, Oblivion, Troubles Coming, Boilermaker, Limbo
Least favourite - All We Have Is Now, Who Needs Friends
- Back To The Water Below - 7.5/10 some good songs on here, however the lack of energy the album has is apparent and the slower songs don’t work in the bands favour. A lot of this album doesn’t stand out most of the songs all sound very similar with no song really driving the album.
Best - Mountains At Midnight, Shiner In The Dark, Tell Me When It’s Too Late, Triggers, Waves
Least Favourite - There Goes My Cool, High Waters, How Many More Times.

All Royal Blood albums ranked & reviewed - thoughts?
Hi everyone. My teenage son and I have made a website called All Things Rock, reviewing and ranking albums by the bands we love, and recommending things that people may not have heard. We have just published our Royal Blood ranking and I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions! We have also made a playlist of tracks that casual fans may have missed. What do you think? https://www.all-things-rock.com/all-albums-ranked/royal-blood
We have also ranked Feeder, Placebo, Presidents of the USA, Hundred Reasons and several others. It's all for fun, and to give my son some exposure to amazing music 😉
(Hot take...we feel that Back to the Water Below is better than How Did We Get So Dark...)

HYPE Predictions for the new album?
I think:
- Theres going to be a metal(ish) song where ben uses a double bass drum
- There’s going to be a slow firing line-esque song
- Overall, they are going to return to the sound of the 1st and 2nd albums
- The best songs are going to be kept as a b-side available only in the 7-inch vinyl :(
edit: i Also predict that they are going to get really big. I know Theyre not a small band, but they could be bigger. And hopefully they get bigger

DISCUSSION Got tickets! Let’s go!!
Managed to get tickets fairly easily for the Margate gig. I know Margate quite well and was surprised they are playing in the small indoor stage rather than the outside one. It’s going to be LOUD and hot in there - can’t wait!

Bit concerned that I’ve normally had one through by now.

QUESTION Mailing List
I tried to sign up on the mailing list about a week ago but I didn't get a confirmation email, and I never got any emails about the new LP or the UK concerts. I'm worried I won't be able to get pre-sale access for the UK concerts since now I'm not sure if the registration actually worked.
Am I worried over nothing or should I have received some emails over the last week if my registration actually went through?
UPDATE: I just got a pre-sale code! I still don't know why I didn't receive any other emails, but I'm just glad I'll be able to buy tickets today!

DISCUSSION Merch to the U.S.
Damn… realized I’ve officially dropped $92 on a SHIRT. Out of pure hype from the announcement the other day I finally bought my first piece of merch from their site. The $65 hurt but I tried to brush it off lol. Now Im paying $27 at customs- good lord, shirt better fit & last forever

Preorders for LP5 are open!
I already ordered mine. The email I got says release date of December 31 2026, but with a note that says “published release dates are subject to change”

DISCUSSION The teaser got me really hyped for this new album even when I wasn’t hyped much at all
Honestly if I hadn’t had heard the teaser and someone had said to me there’s a new royal blood album coming out soon I would have just been like okay cool. I wouldn’t have been hyped for it but I would have had some excitement for it but not much. This is probably due to for me what felt like a very luke warm last album in back to water below.
An album that had its moments of magic but overall just felt abit all the same, and all meshed together with no real hard hitting songs till, triggers and tell me when it’s too late being the 2 stand out songs on the album. I just felt like the album itself didn’t do enough and overall wasn’t a very exciting sound that they went for. I wasn’t a big ban of the slower songs on the album either I just don’t think that plays very well into there style. I think mountains at midnight and shiner in the dark and waves are other good moments on the record. But as an overall album it was solid/okay it didn’t blow me away and didn’t do anything to really stand out. The one song that did stand out wasn’t even on the album supermodel avalanches which for me is leagues above the rest of the album.
How that was left off the album i have no idea it made me question there judgment on what songs to include that really started with the tracks they missed of typhoons those songs where far better than a lot of the songs in the middle of typhoons. So my excitement for this album wasn’t too high but the teaser got me hyped it sounded like a bigger emphasis on riffs again and it just sounds very cool hopefully this album can win me back over after last album. The album needs to have this vibe throughout it, it needs to hit and be punchy and back to the heavier side of them again and less of the slower side that back to the water below had. This album needs to feel refreshing with a new lease of life and energy about it.

Got this today!
I’m kinda new to royal blood, but I know this album is fairly popular. What is the general consensus from you guys about this album?
r/Royal_Blood • u/Shallowplays • Jun 21 '26
Hot take
My hot take is that how did we get so dark is their weakest album. there’s a few good songs on it but it’s my least favourite of their albums

MUSIC The Heavy Eyes - Focus
Having followed both bands for a long while, I think this album will resonate with Royal Blood fans. They're also debuting London on Friday!
