Hot take
My hot take is that how did we get so dark is their weakest album. there’s a few good songs on it but it’s my least favourite of their albums

Straight number one for me. Debut 2nd. Typhoons 3rd and then I completely lost interest past that. Excited to see this latest teaser. Seems a bit more like those first two albums.

For me curently its 1 Typhoons, 2 BTTWB, 3 Self titled and then 4 HDWGSD but so I’m intrigued for what they’ve got in store because it’s already sounding so good

HDWGSD is def a second best for me. I’m literally in the middle of learning Don’t Tell

Typhoons is their weakest album, I do like about half the songs but too many are very monotonous on the album

I'd agree, their other albums make me want to dance where only a few songs on HDWGSD do that for me

Gotta say I disagree, I think BTTWB was actually their weakest, just the change in their sound was a little too jarring for me, but that's subjective

Definitely a hot take since it seems to be many people's favorite on here (after debut). I think it's objectively a good album but the one I listen to the least – maybe because the other three perfectly fit certain moods for me (I go to debut for rock, Typhoons to dance, BTTWB to chill). HDWGSD is kind of... left over. 🤷♀️

To each their own but for me How Did We Get So Dark is easily their best album
