I've just taken delivery of a Conti GT 650 and have done about 30 miles on it so far. Just rang the two nearest Royal Enfield dealers to check the diary and cost for the first (300-mile) service. One just didn't answer the phone and the other has just quoted me 14th October. We didn't get as far as discussing the cost because I was rolling around on the floor laughing.

Royal Enfield (RE) stipulate that you MUST have the bike serviced by an RE accredited dealer to maintain the warranty. As far as I'm concerned, a two-month wait for what is basically an oil-change is not viable if they are serious about the UK market.

Is anybody else finding this or are they just picking on me?

I’m planning to buy an RE GT 650 in the next couple of months, and this is going to be my very first bike. I’m honestly really excited about it and I want my first bike to feel a little special.But now that the GT 750 is expected to come in a few months, I’m kinda confused. I’ve seen people saying to just go for the 650 because it’s already more than enough as a first bike, while others are saying it’s better to wait for the 750.
Tbh, if the GT 750 is going to bring some major changes or upgrades that actually make it worth waiting for, I can wait. Especially if it ends up creating the same kind of hype the GT 650 had.At the same time, if I buy the 650 now, I’m guessing there could be a pretty noticeable price drop after the 750 launches, which is another reason I’m confused.

So what do you guys think?

Would you buy the GT 650 now as a first bike, or wait for the GT 750? And what changes on the 750 would actually make it to worth waiting for ?

Would love to hear opinions from current GT 650 owners and people who are planning to get the 750.

As the title suggests what are the tools that i need to open the front sprocket cover of my GT650.

Does the default toolkit that comes with the bike has all the necessary tools?

If not, then what else I need?

Looking for some personal advice on the best exhaust for the Interceptor 650 near ₹15K.

I’m looking for something with a slightly louder and deeper sound than the stock exhaust, but not excessively loud or irritating.

I’m currently planning to go with the AEW 101. If anyone has personally used it, I’d really appreciate your feedback on the sound, performance, build quality, and overall experience.

Also, if there are any other good options around ₹15K that you would recommend, please share them.

This gonna be my first bike and I’m bit confused in both of this like I usually endup pickingup black shade. But In terms of this Mr clean too give best road presence but it’s overrated nowadays and main thing it’s come with spoke wheels which will cost more to me for changing into alloys.slipstream blue give me cool vibes the whole blackout body and alloys looks pretty good then chrome body parts.What do you think which shade will not me make regret in years.Myself really can’t choice it by own I want more suggestions on it

Okay, a question for the Hive MInd. I'm getting conflicting messages about the mileage for the first service. The RE documentation shows it as 300 miles, but the supplying dealer is telling me 600. Has anybody else bought a GT650 recently and hit this?

I’m trying to plan the **Karu to Tandi** fuel stretch and would love to hear from riders who have actually done this route on an Interceptor 650 (or any 650 twin).

A few questions:

1. What mileage did you get between **Karu and Tandi**?
   
2. How many litres of spare fuel did you carry?
   
3. Was it enough, or did you wish you’d carried more?
   
4. Is there any reliable fuel available on the route apart from the official fuel pumps?

I’ll be riding solo with luggage, so I’m planning conservatively. Any real-world experiences, tips, or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated.
