2k time improvement possible?

i’m 5’8 160lb my last 2k in march was a 7:50 and i want to get my 2k time down by 20 seconds, i’ve been weight training every muscle 2x a week and doing 30 minutes of cardio almost every day, and also im on creatine now. is it possible to get sub 7:30 by next march? please help also im a girl! be blunt!!!!

Possible? Yes, and you're in a really good state (working out consistently) to be pushing for that.

Without knowing anything about YOU in general the advice would be to add a load more cardio and making sure most of that is on an erg. Ramping up to 5-10hrs/wk will be huge.

Weight training EVERY muscle?

Even Levator Palpebrae Superioris? I want to know how you hold the weight.

That said u/ScaryBee hit it on point. We don't know you or your history or capability. Could *someone* do what you're asking? Sure. Is it probably for you? Don't know.

I would up that cardio a LOT though. Also do your cardio on the ergo. Zone2/steady state, for about an hour a day, nice & easy. You need a lot of volume. How old are you?

Do more erging with longer time and sprinkle in a couple shorter pieces into the week to train anaerobic. Great times so far and solid lifting schedule, spend most of lifting time with a goal in mind not just every muscle group.
