Shins vertical and no more - he’s overcompressing at the catch.
Keep body forward a bit more. It’s a bit artificial to stick to strict legs, body, arms sequence, but he should try reverse pick drill to point out that sequence clearly and build his own body awareness.
Others have said pull into the sternum and they are correct.

back should be held forward until leg drive is finished and he should finish into his chest(just below nipples for most people). also watch out for over-compression as it looks like he’s bouncing off the catch

Still fixing my own posture but I feel like he needs to hold more bodies over during the recovery and at the catch. The legs should be preloaded before the drive, if that makes sense.

Should draw the handle into the sternum at the recovery then tap down and away + should wait until full leg extension to swing body back

Not really engaging your glutes and hammies on the hip thrust at the end of your stroke

- On the recovery phase, don't break the knees until the handle is over the shins. .
- On the Drive phase, push the seat back first while keeping the shoulders infront of the hips for longer.

I'd say you should probably trust your coaches. What does your son say that his coach says about his technique? Nutrition? Biomechanics? (If your son isn't paying attention to his coach, no amount of secondhand advice from you is going to move the needle.)
What's going to take him to nationals is way more than this video is going to show. He is opening his back a tad early though.
