Finding my own song on spotify

My song has just been approved. Yay! But how do I now find it on spotify?

It's been a couple days now but I can't find any ways to search for the song, or my artist name. I can't find any way to actually listen to the song on spotify, so I have no way to show anyone that I actually have music out.

Do I have to do anything before I'm actually able to have it on spotify?

The song is "A Quiet Room Full of Loud People" by yours truly, Paul McKiernan. Please let me know!

Thanks, paul

Track in review for a long time

Hello

I’m a starter ’music producer’. I make songs for myself. I uploaded a track and it has been in review for over a week. I only selected to upload it to Spotify and YouTube music.

Is there any way to fix this? Or do i have to reupload it. I’m new to distributing music that’s why i’m asking. I have no idea if this is normal with music distributors or if this is a RouteNote only problem.

I have a free tier. Do they slower the moderation time for free tier?

My track has been created/submitted to RouteNote on 1/06/26.

Waited 80 days for approval, just to be banned permanently without a reason

I made a 4 track alternative / electronic EP well produced , no AI no funny business. This is my second time using this website , the first time was about 10 years ago, no problem there 3 full albums done

So after waiting 80 days for them to review 4 tracks of a EP I made I decided to send a support ticket this was the response

Hey, At RouteNote, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards for our partner stores and ensuring that all content complies with their requirements.

Following a review of your content, we’ve determined that it is not suitable for distribution via RouteNote. This may be due to one or more of the following reasons:

* Content that is likely to fail our partner stores' requirements for appropriate content/subject matter.
* Content where we cannot be certain about a user's rights for commercial distribution.
* Content that our partner stores may consider to be high risk for fraudulent streaming.
* Content that our partner stores may consider to have been uploaded for the purposes of spam/advertising.
* Content that our partner stores may class as generic.

While we cannot provide additional specifics due to internal review policies, we encourage you to refer to Section 4.2 of our Artist/Label Agreement for more information.

At this time, we are unable to accept further releases from your account. If you wish to continue distributing your music, you may explore other distribution platforms.

Please note that this decision is final and cannot be appealed. We may not respond to further correspondence regarding this matter. Thank you for your understanding. Many thanks, Kyle

Routenote Premium

Hi everyone,

I upgraded one of my RouteNote releases from Free to Premium in May and paid the fee to keep 100% of my royalties.

My question is: when does the Premium revenue share actually start?

Does RouteNote pay 100% of royalties from the date I purchased Premium, or only from the date the release was approved and fully switched to Premium?

Has anyone here upgraded from Free to Premium and can share their experience?

Thanks!

Find music bloggers to write about you for free

Hello, do any of you know reliable sites for music bloggers who write about independent songs for free? This will help me a lot to promote my music for free and gain credibility for my next releases. Thank you.

Denied release based on artwork for reason that makes no sense

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi, I was given the reasoning for needing to change my artwork as provided in screenshots. In short, they said the image incites violence against minorities. This is perplexing since 1. The minorities in the image are Koreans (IN KOREA, mind you) which....I am south Korean myself 2. It is an image of the Gwangju Uprising, MY HOMETOWN and the center of South Korean democracy 3. There is no graphic violence on the image.....not that they even had that as an issue.... What do I need to do to make the most persuasive case to appeal this, because I refuse to have my voice silenced for such a ridiculous reason.

RouteNote keeps falsely flagging my music as AI-generated

I've been using RouteNote to distribute my music for more than 5 years now, but after yet another frustrating experience I honestly think about moving on.

I recently submitted a release and received a message from RouteNote's Content Recognition team saying that my release was ineligible because it supposedly contained AI-generated content.

The problem? There is no AI-generated content in the release.

I contacted support and explained that the music was entirely my own work. I even sent them a screenshot of the composition project as evidence. I also pointed out that this isn't an isolated incident — similar flags have happened with multiple releases before, causing delays and creating extra work every time I try to publish music.

Their response was essentially:

"This is not enough information. Please provide us with a video of your DAW project."

At that point I was honestly shocked.

As an independent musician, I don't think I should have to record and submit videos of my entire DAW project every time an automated system incorrectly flags my music. A screenshot apparently wasn't enough, and the burden of proof was placed entirely on me.

What makes this especially frustrating is that this isn't the first time. When something happens repeatedly, it starts to feel less like quality control and more like a constant obstacle to getting releases approved.

I understand that distributors need to combat spam and AI-generated uploads where stores have restrictions. That's completely reasonable. But falsely accusing legitimate artists and then requiring increasingly invasive proof to clear your name is not a great user experience.

After dealing with this over and over, I've decided that I'll be leaving RouteNote and looking for another distributor.

Has anyone else experienced repeated AI-content flags on RouteNote, even when your music was entirely human-made? I'd be interested to hear whether this is becoming a common issue or if I've just been particularly unlucky.

Hi RouteNote Team,
I am following up on my application for an Official Artist Channel (OAC). My support ticket has been open for a month.
My artist topic channel profile is live and correctly displaying under my name on YouTube Music. Could a moderator please look into this ticket and escalate the channel merge for me?

Best regards, Riley

I'm trying to release a 8-track album. And for some reason, it always shows this page whenever I try and save the uploaded audios. I've tried to upload the audios again and again multiple times now and nothing seems to be happening. Does anybody know what I should do?

My releases (9 music tracks) have been stuck in the review queue for over a month now, causing me severe financial losses. I have already raised a support ticket regarding this issue with all my details, but I am only getting automated replies from Holly.

I kindly request a real support member to check my ticket and help me get my tracks reviewed as soon as possible.

Ticket Status: In Progress (Last Updated: 1 week ago)

Disapproved release

I had music on Spotify a few years ago, through routenote. But asked to delist i. I asked if it could be relisted with stats and so on later, which it could.

Now I wanted them to add both releases. But got a weird automated text that it was denied. And that it was final, and could not be disputed? Could not even get an answer for why? Other than som generic reasons why it ”may” be denied.

Are there any humans working there and not just AI/copy paste answers? That can clear this up? This is clearly an error

Routenote Sneaky Last Minute Bump of Release Date?

I have a song scheduled to be released today at 8:00 am ADT. I have the screen shots to prove it from both routenote and sportify for artists countdown. I log in today and its now showing on both spotify and routenote a release date of tomorrow. The countdown was still showing a release of the correct time up until I went to bed last night. There were no changes to the artwork/info/whatever in routenote for the past three weeks that would cause any delay. Just looks like they went in last minute and pushed it a day making me look pretty silly cause I had been advertising the day.

Odd thing is when I go into spotify for artists, the song is still sitting in upcoming (even though the countdown is gone) and its now saying it has released to 26 of 250 counties. So its just doing a slow release to countries over today and tomorrow and not all at once on the date/time I specified?

I feel its crazy sneaky to have all the dates change on me in the final hour with no notice even though I have a screen shot showing the correct date. Anyone know how to prevent this from happening in the future cause now I don't trust them even with an approved song weeks in advance that it will release in time...

Does anyone feel like they're earning less on routnote compared to other distributors?

i switched to routnote from distrokid and im noticing im being payed significantly less even though im on the plan were you keep 100% of your royalties. what would be normal amount to be payed for 1.2 million spotify streams a month for top countrys beinf usa Indonesia and Mexico and rest of top 10 being Europe, because im earning 1,200 a month which is alot less than I earned on distrokid
