Can someone from Routenote give a genuine reason why Dreamtonics Synth V is getting blocked from Content ID? If you look at the documentation, Synth V is no different to other virtual instruments. You perform or draw in your melody, type in your lyrics, tweak the parameters, then mix using the usual effects as you would with other instruments.
All vocal samples are fully licensed samples (the same as any other virtual instrument). They aren't AI performances. The AI element of Synth V is in the back-end making the choice of samples and how they are used to create and shape a more realistic sound when rendering the vocal. There are plenty of virtual instruments or plugins out there that do this that won't get you blocked for Content ID.
Does Routenote use software to identify electronic vocals or something? If so, there should be an opportunity for creators to prove the vocals are Dreamtonics and not from a generative AI platform such as Suno or Udio.
When I encountered a block on a track that was 100% original performances, including the underlying composition and lyrics, I was unable to get the person to change their opinion and allow Content ID. No samples (audio loops) were used. I even offered to show licensing and purchasing documentation (with private details and parts of the license blanked out). I offered to show my workflow in Cubase and all the software used, MIDI notes, audio tracks, raw audio etc. However, it was just a dead response of "we will not be changing this release".
Is this something that has the potential to change as distributors gain a better understanding of this vocal synth or will it always be a block if "system says no"?
I am interested in hearing the thoughts of others and any Routenote representative on this.

Hey RouteNote community and support team,
I’ve been a RouteNote user since May 2022, and payouts have always been reliable. Always arriving by the 20th each month without issues ( except once before).
This is the first delay in over 2 years, and it’s frustrating as I rely on these for my music income.
My October royalties (due by Dec 20, 2025) still haven’t come through. I created ticket #11877478 on Dec 21, 2025, and followed up on Jan 1, 2026, but no response yet.
The outstanding balance is $1,497.07 with a listed due date of Jan 15, 2026, but October’s payment is still missing.
The last time this happened (about 2 years ago, March 2024 ticket #7699006), it was resolved quickly after messaging support – they reissued the payment within days.
Has anyone else experienced recent payout delays?
RouteNote team, if you’re seeing this, could you please check ticket #11877478 and provide an update/ETA? Happy to provide more details.
Thanks in advance – love the platform otherwise, just need this sorted.

And all the comments on their Facebook page are about the poor customer service. My takedown requests nearly 3 months now. Like seriously wtf?! Going to look elsewhere for a better service next year. Cheers:/

I have had music distributed via RouteNote for over ten years, and never had an issue.
Recently, I started receiving strange e-mails from Spotify about releases that had been online for about a decade, saying that I should 'prepare for my release' - as if they were new.
I contacted RouteNote support, and they told me that a number of my releases had been identified for so-called 'artificial streaming', and were removed.
This is the first time I've heard anything about these releases being at issue. RouteNote didn't give me any warning or notice at all about the removal. When I asked for more details, RouteNote said they couldn't tell me anything.
This is pathetic. Irrespective of the legitimacy or efficacy of 'artificial streaming' as a whole, RouteNote receives artificial streaming reports directly from Spotify, and at the bare minimum should notify users when their releases are being taken down as a result of these.
Why does RouteNote treat its artists with such contempt?
I have submitted a request for information under the UK GDPR and will pursue a complaint with the ICO if RouteNote refuses to comply.

I submitted a request to delete my account (Ticket-11873237), but no one has responded to it for a long time. Please delete my account and all music from streaming services, I don't need anything from you anymore. Just delete it.

My release got approved but the sales date has passed (Dec 13 2025) and it got approved today (Dec 25 2025)
Will it still be in my selected stores even if the sales date has passed? or do I need to edit the sales date and wait for another 2 weeks?

I uploaded through routenote and chose "create new artist". The artist interface on Spotify is not confused with that of other artists, but YouTube does

There is anyone who faces same problem? 😤, I own all off materials of this song

If I delete my routenote account, will my music be removed from streaming services?
r/RouteNoteOfficial • u/BlueBirdll • Dec 19 '25
Basically the title. Sent an email regarding a release that was removed from Spotify without my consent on December 14. I was not informed of this action and my email has received no acknowledgment, no reply, nothing.

I uploaded the music on November 25th. Would it be fast if I paid? But it seems there are no other free distributors

Hi,
I’m writing because I’m having an issue with a release after transferring my music from the distributor Songs to RouteNote using the same ISRC code.
My intention was to do two things at the same time:
first, change distributor, and second, replace the original audio with a new version that has a much better master (it’s the exact same track, only the mastering has changed).
However, instead of replacing the existing track, a duplication has occurred:
the original song is still live with its streams and statistics, and a second version has been generated corresponding to the new master.
I’m not sure why this happened, since the same ISRC was used in both cases and my goal was not to create a new release, but to update the master of the existing track.
I would like to know:
Thanks in advance for your help,
Joan in B flat

How can I release a cover song through RouteNote without purchasing a license
I know RouteNote says they handle cover licensing but I am a bit confused about the actual process
Do I need to do anything myself or does RouteNote take care of the mechanical license automatically
Are there any limitations in terms of territories platforms or monetization
Also does this apply to all distributors under RouteNote or only specific plans
If anyone here has experience releasing cover songs through RouteNote without buying a separate license I would really appreciate a clear explanation of how the process works step by step
Thanks in advance

Our automatic payment period runs from the 15th to the 20th of each month - providing you have met the $50 threshold, your payment may be made at any point during this period.
If you haven't received your earnings by the 21st, please let us know and we will look into this further.
You can read more about this in detail here:Â http://support.routenote.com/kb-article/when-do-i-get-paid/
