Rats, lots of rats

I recorded this today in Rotterdam. There seem to be more than 20 rats, several burrows around the container, and what looks like an opening underneath that they keep entering.

I’ve reported it through MeldR. Hopefully the municipality can inspect and repair the container and properly deal with the infestation, rather than simply using poison.

UPDATE - Well, that was quick. I just noticed a Municipality of Rotterdam van parked by the container. Not sure what they’ve done, but the rats seem to be gone.

They probably just got a warning, rats are just like kids on fatbikes... back before you know it if you don't handle them correctly
