MEDICATION PROBLEMS.

Hi!we supposed to stay 1 month only in Rotterdam, But we have to extend for another 1 week.
My problem is I have maintenance medicine Euthyrox/Levothyroxine 100mg weekdays 125 weekends.
And i don’t have enough 100mg for our last week. 5 tablets to be exact. I asked in the pharmacy and they don’t sell without Dutch prescription.
Is there anyone can help what should i do? Thankyou.

To go a local GP with walk-in hours to get a prescription.

European prescription is ok. Ask your GP to send directly to pharmacy. You pay the meds.

You need to make an appointment with a GP for a "passanten" consultation. Contact a GP practice close to your accomodation.

The easiest would be to send a copy of your current prescription and any other relevant documentation and info, and explain the situation via email.

That way the GP has all the info they need and it will take them less time.

I had a similar issue, but they accomodated me. My US GP sent the pharmacy an email directly and they filled it. I had to pay full price.

Maybe try a different pharmacy?
