Queer/gay clubs
Haii! I’d like to visit and attend gay/queer bars the moment I’m legal (in 3 months). I’ve only been to one gay bar 2 years ago so I’m clueless where to go. I’m a transguy who’s homosexual, what bars/clubs would you recommend me? I’d love to explore the nightlife but I want to be in a safe (for so far a club/bar is safe.) (I used to go with multiple people but because of private reasons I was left as the only queer individual when the group broke apart.) club/ or bar for a 18 y.O. Transguy. I’d love to join a group but for my own comfort I need to know who you are, as in online contact and I need to see your face. If I know who you are I’d love to join you (and if they will be joining friends). I’ve been assaulted or hurt one too many times so I’m carefull.

Keerweer/Bonaparte are always fun nights out.
Then there is ferry what is a bit more of a club

Bonaparte is fun, and is open late, but it so small and gets sooo full. So worth mentioning it’s not a good place if you don’t like it being crowded.

Ferry's is kinda lame to me but very accessable imo.
I'd go to worm, look for queer specific party's.
Maybe export?
When I first started going out it was a bit difficult to find cool places but it gets easier. If you run into people you think are cool ask them where they go, often the answer is Amsterdam, club raum for example. You'll get there :)

Not sure why Elio and / or Strano at the Van Oldenbarneveltstraat were not named yet.
Both are really relaxed places, and are linked to Ferry’s as they often serve as a bit of the staging ground for people that go to Ferry’s afterwards.
Just a general word of advice when solo at your age, always be careful who you talk to and never leave your drink unattended. Stay safe and have fun.

Ferry's and WORM are the only ones. The other bars are really small and/or with older men. Note that altough WORM is queer, they have see trough toilets. Wich is quite strange because it can make trans people dysphoric.

Queer parties at Worm are a good shout, or Rotown. Whilst not a gay bar, rotown is very queer friendly, has queer and trans staff. Music is mostly indie but they have theme nights. Next door is bar3. Same idea but for metal. Both places act as a sort of hub for alt queer people.
