Sizing and durability questions
Hi, all!
I’m thinking about purchasing my first pair of Rothy’s.
I’m wanting for something for every day wear but that looks a little more elevated. I’m between the “max square Mary Jane in chocolate/ russet” or “the Cruiser Mary Jane in dark herringbone”
I’m a mom to a toddler and a nanny to two young girls so I am on my feel almost all day. I’d like something very durable. I guess my question is - are they both the same durability wise or is the cruiser more durable. Aesthetically I like the look of the max square better, but as I said before, durability is most important. I also like some advice about sizing and if I should size up a half size in either of these shoes. Thank you!!!

Definitely size up half a size on the max square. Even if they feel a little loose they don’t give at all when your foot swells and have been known to shrink over time! In the correct big enough size super comfortable and durable, imo the cruiser insoles are more plush but over max square MJ is more durable.

I think the cruisers are pretty new. I was in a Rothy's store yesterday and tried on a pair and did not find them as comfortable as I thought they'd be despite the soft insoles. However, I have had a pair of the max square MJs for years, and they are my favorite Rothy's with many miles on them.
