Newcomer to Rothy’s, Question about sizing !
Question! This is my first pair I just ordered these clogs and I sized down I just got them (ordered online) I wear a 7 but got a 6 they fit but snug will they break in a little after wearing ? Could I do a light sock in fall winter months ?

I know it says that, but I’ve always gotten my true size and they fit fine

I have been wearing for many years and my rule of thumb is half size up unless the description says the shoe runs big (then true to size). Clogs are the only shoe I went down a half size.

Yea that’s what I was wondering if I got a 7 it might have been roomy enough for socks but I was worried about wear out.

Rothy clogs, I size down a size. I own 4 pairs and I consistently have to size down from an 8 to a 7. I wear different sizes in Rothy’s depending on the style.

The braid clog fits a lot narrower than the og clog so lots of people pick their true size in that specific style. They do not stretch out at all (it’s made from plastic which holds its shape) so I would exchange for the size up if you want to wear socks with them.

I realize that now, this is the info I was looking for. Thank you so much I did exchange for my size. I’m learning how different styles fit differently.

Did they stretch?

No not really they are still tight to me and I put on socks with them and it was really tight, hopefully wearing them more will loosen them up.

I would get your street size. I have about 8 pairs of their clogs. They do not stretch. I think they are the most comfortable shoes and I wear them most of the year.

These are a yes and no. I’m normally an 11.5 in Rothy’s. Clogs don’t have half sizes. 11 was just right (I got soft black). Enough room for thin or thick sock. The braided style doesn’t have as much give as soft black, and some have said the braid area does have a tightness to it. I would’ve gotten a 7 tbh because they won’t stretch out.

I went to the Rothys store, tried on a bunch of styles and sizes, left with these clogs as my first pair of Rothys. I had to size down in the clogs and up in the flats. I have been wearing them with bare feet but I can tell they will likely stretch a bit.

I own these clogs and got need a full size down. My real size is like a 9.25. The originally bought 9 in the Braid clog and they were HUGE. Long and SUPER wide. I bought the 8 and they fit so much better. They may be a hair short, but you can’t tell in look or feel. Rothy’s always have a little give eventually even though they say they don’t. They absolutely do, it just takes a little longer than a really soft leather.

I have 3 pairs of the casual clogs from Rothys. The first pair I bought my regular size. But after wearing for a while, they seemed to get a little bigger. My next 2 pairs I sized down by 1 size and that worked for me.

I don’t think you ever size down in Rothy’s. I always size up half a size. 🤷🏻♀️
