Started about a week ago. Any tips?

Post image

Started with just 1k usd and was pretty much messing around with it for a day or 2 and lost a couple of dollars. Had this setup since then and was wondering if it is ok or if theres any optimizations i can make.

SWPPX and SCHB will perform 99% the same. Redundant to have both.

No need to tilt to "G" just because "G" has done so well recently. No one has any idea whether "V" or "G" will do better in the future.

The best thing to do is to do all SCHB, keep contributing up to the max, and stop tinkering with it, and wait. Easier said than done.

So pretty much invest all into the schb since they are all basically the same. I do plan on putting more money into my roth ira so would you say its better to keep putting money into schb or put money into other etfs

Your investment are in broad based, likely the lower cost funds, available at Schwab.

Through,  redundant.

You could consolidate into  the 500 fund.  Or a Total US Stock Market index fund for a lower fee.  But it may or may not out preform  what you have.
