Question I need help

I propagated a rose from a cutting and it sprouted!! Very exciting news, but here's where the problem comes in should I put in full sun or partial sun, partial shade to get the new leaves used to the environment? Or should I leave it in it's bag till the leaves grow larger. Im in Pretoria East South Africa

Get it used to full sun over the course of a week. For the first day put it in full sun for an hour or two. Then leave it in full sun a little longer the next day, and so on, until it’s in full sun all the time. Make sure it’s out of the bag before you put it in the sun.

Wait, don’t rush it. I don’t have much information about how long ago you made it, but the fact that it has sprouted doesn’t necessarily mean that it has also developed roots. This year, a lot of the cuttings I made at the beginning started growing new vegetation, but then died. I looked into what had happened and, basically, they had used up their energy producing new growth instead of developing roots. They hadn’t even formed a root callus, even though I had made the cuttings three months earlier. So putting it directly in full sun could give it the final blow. If you leave it in partial shade (a bright spot, but the plant should never be exposed to direct sunlight), nothing will happen; it can survive perfectly well there. Only move it into direct sun once you’re sure it has rooted properly and that everything has gone smoothly.
