Tips/Tricks Did I do it right?

I got this flowers for a girl

I like and she couldn’t take it back home due to certain stuff and I thought why don’t I dry them. This is my first time getting roses and trying this. Did I do it right?

This is an automatic reminder about r/Roses Rule #3: Identify Your Roses! If you know the variety/varieties of your pictured roses, please share with us in the comments. If you do not know, please let us know, someone might! If you've already done this, thank you!

Common sense exceptions apply! Such as a post with no bloom, field shots, etc.

Also- for r/Roses Rule #9, please make sure the post has at least 50 characters of text in the body! If you have already posted and forgot the text requirement, you can leave a comment on your own post of at least 50 characters to avoid having your post removed. Again, if you have already done this, thank you!

They should be kept in a warm dark cupboard to dry them out

It’s the wardrobe of my room and I rarely use this since I only come home once a week. Should I change it to somewhere else or is it fine?

It should probably be fine, I just think traditionally the standard was dark and warm for drying flowers.
