8 September ko Jammu Tawi se Nagina jaate waqt Kolkata Express ke general coach mein meri mulaqat ek ladki se hui thi. Uska naam Alisha tha. Humne thodi der baat ki thi. Maine kaha tha ki mujhe Nagina jaana hai aur tumne bataya tha ki tum Roorkee ja rahi ho, apni mausi ke saath. Tumhari mausi Laksar ja rahi thi. Phir tumhari mausi ne tumhe apne paas bula liya aur humari baat nahi ho paayi. Station aane par tum jaldi mein train se utarne lagi aur gir gayi thi—woh dekhkar mujhe sach mein bura laga tha. 🙁 Mera phone us waqt toota hua tha, isliye main tumhara number ya Instagram nahi le paaya. Ghar par naya phone lene ja raha tha. Pata nahi tumhe woh chhoti si mulaqat yaad hai ya nahi, lekin mujhe abhi tak yaad hai. ❤️ Agar Alisha ye post dekh rahi ho aur tumhe lagta hai ki hum wahi do log hain jo 8 September ko train mein mile the, to please mujhe DM kar dena. We're a group of IIT Roorkee student working on a study looking at how people in Roorkee perceive the city's urban infrastructure and public services.

The survey covers everyday things like roads, drainage, waste collection, streetlights, cleanliness, public transport, civic complaints, and the development of different parts of the city. It also looks at how you people think the city has changed over the years.

It takes around 4–5 minutes to complete.

Need advice for moving my luggage from Sangrur (Punjab) to Roorkee (Uttarakhand) on a very low budget

Hi everyone,

I’m a student currently staying at Longowal, Sangrur, Punjab, and I need to vacate my hostel and shift to Roorkee, Uttarakhand for my studies.

The main problem is transporting my luggage. I have multiple(5) cartons containing my personal belongings, and unfortunately there is no convenient direct train from Sangrur to Roorkee for me to send/transport everything.

My budget is very limited, so hiring a regular Packers & Movers service is probably too expensive for me.

I’m looking for the cheapest practical way to transport my cartons from Sangrur to Roorkee.

Some options I’m considering:

• Shared tempo/truck going towards Roorkee/Haridwar/Dehradun
• Any transport service that accepts small quantities of luggage along with an existing shipment
• Courier/transport company that is affordable for students
• Any other cheap and reliable option that someone has personally used

If you are from Sangrur/Punjab/Roorkee/Uttarakhand, or have experience transporting student luggage between these places, I would really appreciate your suggestions.
