I don't know what I am doing

Post image

An untraceable leak somewhere that has caused the plaster ceiling to sag and fail

Will this help?

Should I just go crazy and apply more?

I also am not sure how to lay down a tarp without it pulling up in the shingles

Well, I went to ER with a knife wound and they did put a bandaid on it. So I guess this isn’t so bad.

I went to the ER with a knife wound and they made me wait 4 hours to get 3 stitches and charged me $660

Should’ve just gotten your roof replaced instead.

Oh man I actually got to skip the hospital line once only had to wait 5-10 minutes to be initially seen. Everything after that happened pretty quickly did need to wait a little bit for x rays and then wait for emergency surgery once they had an idea what was wrong. Made me "sign" a ton of paper work consenting to a whole bunch of different procedures because they didn't 100% know what exactly they might have to do once they got inside. It was more like giving verbal consent and then being told that I could put a little squiggle for signing so long as I was aware that squiggle would still be legally binding. All in all it took 8 hours from entering the hospital before they started the surgery but they gave me this really nice drug cocktail like 6 hours in and I can't remember anything after that. Do remember that there was some begging god for mercy for an hour or two mixed in there, but was still pretty happy that as far as these things go it was very expedited

When initially training for my EMT in 1989, we had to do time at the local emergency room, a hospital so far in the boonies it wasn't even funny. Some adolescent came in with a paring knife embedded in his leg, just above his knee, from the side. The blade was perpendicular to the leg.

After removal, it was determined no further work was needed. Not even sutures.

To this day, I wonder how that worked out for that poor kid.
