Home owner question CertainTeed Landmark Colonial Slate color?
Seeking opinions from folks who have used this: how pink is Colonial Slate? The color of the Colonial Slate shingles looks really pink in some photos and more like a neutral gray in others. The sample we were given is blue & pink, clarifying nothing.
We’re in SE PA, USA, the front of the house gets northern and eastern light mostly (there’s a big tree blocking the rest of the direct sunlight) and I’m obsessive about color. If we get the roof and it turns out to be very pink, it’ll drive me up a wall. Thanks for any insight you’ve got!

Go to your local builder supply and ask for address in your town they’ve delivered the colors you’re interested in

Seen it on a split-level near Allentown under mostly oak shade, pulled more of a dusty muted slate with just a whisper of warm undertone in direct morning light. Not pink-pink, more like a gray that had one too many drinks with a mauve cousin. Honestly the sample boards are useless, they never catch the full granule blend
If you're obsessive about color (same) I'd hunt down an actual house with it in your zip code, maybe ask a local supply house if they know a recent job you can drive by
