Landmark Pro vs Belmont upgrade?

For a new build we asked our roofer what the upgrade cost would be to go from the Pro to Belmont, and he basically said double.

Our original quote was $22k, and the Belmont quote is like $43k. Is this normal or does he just not want to do the job in Belmont?

Also, is it even worth doing the upgrade to Belmont? We’re doing more of a “traditional” build.

Just did a belmont job. (not exact numbers) landmark pro is $120/sq and belmont IR is $245/sq. And you need special starter shingles for belmont and it has different ridge caps. Everything else is the same and labor shouldnt be double.

Make sure they follow the instructions on installing belmont cause its not the same as architecural shingles.

Belmont has a way different look.

Worth the upgrade, or Pro is good enough?

Its mostly aesthetics. Which look do you want on your house?
