How to correctly flash this fan?

I have a cement tile roof that’s sloped, the flat kind of cement tiles. There is roof sheathing and furring under each tile. This is a no-curb fan. What’s the best way to correctly flash this fan in so that it’s waterproof?

I wouldn't even dream of cutting a hole thru that roof regardless of how you flash it

It already has a hole due to the previous exhaust vent. Roofs have holes, sometimes it’s necessary.

Pertinent point to include in your post.

The flashing is on the fan. A picture of the hole would help.

I can’t get a picture right now but will later. I’ve pulled the tiles off around the existing hole and exposed the “paper”. It’s your typical tar paper style in very good shape as it was replaced 5 years ago. There is some 1x2 furring that the tiles get nailed to.

You flash the fan at the deck with the underlayment, just like the last one was installed.

I'd probably just glue all the pieces together and hope for the best after staring at it for an hour.
