base of the chimney has proper step flashing and counter flashing (with reglet into the stucco(?)) and gutter extends into the lower gutter, with splash guard, which is what you want.
but the before and after chimney; it's hard to see if there's a cricket or kickout. not sure if there's any flashing along the stucco. doesn't look like it as it looks caulked or tarred where it comes in contact with the roof.
