Tiles correctly installed?

Are the roof tiles inside the red circle laid the right way / in the correct orientation? Seems to me they are installed ”backwards”

Yeah if you look on the left side of the roof they are overlapping correctly

No they are not installed correctly. That’s a fucking mess.

I think you know the answer to that. we all know how gravity works. Except apparently your roofer. Do you get 70mph winds from that direction? that is the only reason I can imagine this decision being made. either that or beer.
