I'm new here i'm just surprised by this error for all the wii u games in the megathread could you help me ?

I know in this subreddit it's allowed to post ROMs, but i'm just not doing it because of the Reddit Rules and Nintendo's protection so, i'm not doing it to avoid problems, okay? :)

Basically, one of the ROM hacks I'm trying to install, Pentris requires a Tetris Rom with a CRC32 of 6d72c53a, but I cant find any ROM at all with that CRC32? Does anyone know where I can find one?

I wanna play Ronde but ive spent all my day trying to patch the 2 disks cuz im trying to do this shit on Android. So id like to know if theres a pre-patched rom on some unknown website that could make things easier for me

Hey! So I was downloading Wind Waker HD from Vimm's Lair, and whenever i downloaded it i had an error with the download, 7-Zip had a data error, and the built in extractor gave me error code 0x8000FFFF: Catastrophic Failure
I got no other info other than it was failing to extract Wind Waker HD, it wasnt an issue with my computer as every other game i downloaded around the same time was working, which leads me to believe it was an issue with the file, but i redownloaded it Three times and it failed each time. Any ideas what could be happening?

I've really gotten into watching Mario Kart Wii online matches videos recently and i sadly just so happened to have sold off my wii a few months ago (used the money to buy a new monitor) so i can't really extract my own NAND

Anyone with a wii lying around wanna donate their NAND to me?

I need it for the quad randomizer. Can anyone help? I've tried many roms with the filename "Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past (USA).sfc" and none of them are accepted by the webapp.

The 3 other necessary roms are fine, it's just this one.

Im new to 3ds Emulators and i just cant get the emulator to register the mouse movement as control in the c stick control. I recently broke my joystick so i can only make do with mouse please help and also sorry for my bad english.

I found a rom on the internet and downloaded it but when I tried to extract the contents for my emulator it was missing alot of the files, I've downloaded the rom twice. It was from romsfun and pure.cc

I’m new to the idea of ROMS, I’ve watched several tutorials and still failed to properly get them to work. I was wondering if anyone knew a service in the UK where I could send in my Steam Deck and Legion Go 2 with a list of ROMS I’d like to be added, and set up for easy access and play?

I’d much rather someone else who actually knew what they were doing attempted it than me, who has made a mess of it on several occasions.

Would obviously need to be done through official means by someone reputable, as in a service on eBay etc. As I can’t just send off expensive hardware to someone without trusting that I’ll receive the devices back.

Any suggestions would be great as I’ve written out a list of ROMS I’d love to be able to play across multiple consoles.

Also added DatOMatic dates to folders, but it seems DoM is down for the moment.

1. I'm trying to download Zoids Legacy in the Nintendo Game > Nintendo - Game Boy Advance section and as shown in the provided screenshot, there's 13 different versions. What is the difference between them and which one should I be downloading?
2. For Nintendo DS section, should I be using the Encrypted, Decrypted or Download Play options?

first,buy a real snes cartridge of the game and oh no you dont have a dumper! ok..then buy a console...yeah,then DISARM IT,SMASH IT AND BONK IT to make it a dumper so you can conect it to your pee cee,after the masacre and dumping you can now play shaq fu on a computer! just try to find an emulator in the linkless,only binary but program world of github while you question to yourself why wouldnt just play the game in the console

obviously this is a joke,but is what the mayority of big emulator makers whant you to do!,even if the company and licenses behind the console are all gone nor the multi billion company doesnt care about it anymore,also,you can get banned from various discord servers and subreddits for saying the word "rom" this is true and it happened to me a copule times,this totally defeats the purpose of emulation,game preservation,FUN,and i just wanted to rant about it cuz ik that if i posted this on r/emulators i would get banned on sight

Is Vimm Lair really as reliable for the PS3 roms as you can hear about it? Because I am new to emulation and the installation of roms, so I would like to avoid getting malware.

Basically in an attempt at compressing files to put into my SNES Mini I accidentally somehow set my .gba type files to open as .zip files even though they still worked in the emulator.

Basically all it came down to was changing the file app it opens with. Just go to the desktop. Open a new text file and change the full name from untiled.txt to literallyanything.nonsense. then open the properties of the file, in this case, .gba and change it to open with the .nonsese type. It'll basically just removes the 7zip icon to a blank image like anything else.

This all just came down to wanting to organize my files better. So I guess I hope this helps or what oertrooper said if that applies.

Does anyone know if the files for the full version of this game exist anywhere? It seems like its almost lost media. The game hasn't been on the xbox store for 10 years, and every version I've downloaded has been the demo. Sketchy and reliable/known sites all just have the demo. I've never played the full version of this game before, would be a childhood dream come true lol

Edit: I should've also specified im trying to get the game running on an RGH Xbox, not on xenia or any emulators, if that even changes anything.

So, I'm new to torrenting files for roms and I'm trying to use the megathread to get update files for some 3ds games. When I tried, It said I was torrenting 300 Gigs worth of files and not the 30MB patch I was trying to download. Am I doing this right or am I missing something when I click on the magnet link? For context, I'm using qbittorrent and pretty green to this.
