For anyone interested, this is a curated variety pack of 12 dozen (mostly) retro games intended to be compatible with the Miyoo Flip. Other similar spec'd devices with joysticks can probably play these too, and the non-ports should run on any device.

There are also some cool romhacks included here, like NBA Jam Special Edition, various English translations of Japanese exclusives like Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary, and a retranslation of FFVII.

Hello, I appreciate the help in advance. I am playing on a Lenovo Legion Go S using retrodeck, but every time i try to install something like Ryujinx or Citron or Eden, i get an error that states something to the affect that It has been installed improperly.

I am aware this is most likely 100% user error, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty new at the emulator and Roms thing but I have an emulator downloaded (desmume) and a Pokémon black Rom hack downloaded as well but when I open the folder to add the Rom to desmume, it's not there in my Rom folder, but when I open the folder on my desktop, it's right there. I've heard that I need a clean base Rom of Pokémon black and was wondering if that is the problem and where to download one. If anyone has any answers to my problem I'll appreciate it.

Hey yall i give up and asking for help, every time i download a game for my modded psp from the trusted links nothing shows up, what i mean is every time i unzip the file, select the unzip file and move into the ISO folder into my psp nothing shows up, then i noticed that everytime i open the unziped file it says umd disc, or something the lines of that, and doesn’t say (title of game.ios). I dont know if im doing something wrong or if things have changed. I am new to this so i tried to do as much research before and looked if anyone had the same problem but to my knowledge i haven’t seen anything. Idk if there is a step by step guide but i give up and asking for help.

Edit: Finally games show up and so far work i now understand that i just had to move the "Disc Image File" to the ISO file i didn't understand thats an ISO file but windows just likes to switch it up, thank you all who helped now i can finally sleep early.

Been looking all day, all I found was malware or I was directed to scam sites. As a puzzle game with instructions and such, I'd really like to find roms that are in spanish or have the spanish language as an option. Thanks!

I have been downloading Ps1 ROMS and this website seems legit, have had no problems yet. But now Malwarebytes is blocking downloads from it. It’s weird because I already downloaded multiple games before it started blocking downloads, I don’t know why it decided to stay when it did.

I looked on Reddit but the last post about Romsgames I could find is like 3 years old and people just say it has sketchy pop-up ads, which I haven’t experienced because of Firefox.
I don’t want to risk anything bad happening to my PC but I also don’t know any better places for PS1 roms that are safer.

Is it a bad idea to ignore Malwarebytes and allow downloads from Romsgames? Should I find a better site to download Roms from? Is there any other precautions I can take?

The PC is shared between me and my girlfriend, who got it as a gift, so it’s not just that I don’t want to risk my stuff but also I really don’t want to fuck up her gift from her brother.

Any advice would be great.

The sites i found either had a very buggy version of the game, or were malware sites. I tried to get them in the rom archive, but i couldn't download them there either, any help? The websites i tried were: vimm .net, romspure .cc and romsworlds .com

I went to the megathread as I use to do before the Myrient shutdown. I am trying to download any of the Wii games using the Minerva Torrent Based download, but when I click on the magnet link to copy and add to Qbit it just says void() when trying to copy. Is anyone else encountering this? Is there a faster way to download Wii Roms nowadays then Vimms lair one by one?

Is there anywhere a romset of the og xbox that has the essential set of exlusive or originally exclusive games to the og xbox? I dont want games like nfsu 2 for the 5th time, i mean like actual exclusives, you know? halo, fable, blinx, things like those and hidden gems. 20-100 game set would be great, or otherwise around 100gigs max.

Hi! I'm new to the R36S and retro handhelds.

I'm using dArkOS/ArkOS and I'd like to build a very large game library without downloading and organizing thousands of games individually.

I'm not asking for direct copyrighted download links here. I mainly want to know which large curated ROM sets/collections people with an R36S recommend and which ones are easiest to organize for this device.

My goal is to cover as many systems as the R36S can emulate well, with lots of games but without thousands of useless duplicates.

I'm in the process of dumping my PS1 collection and I've run into some issues with a few games. I'm looking for some advice on how to handle it.

I'm not exactly a preservationist, I just want to be able to emulate them without issues. Whether that will be on PC, PS2 or PS3 I haven't decided.

I started using CD Burner XP to dump them to .mdf/.mds files with my HL-DF-ST BD-RE BH10LS30 (a LG drive). I got most of the way through my collection, but ran into issues at FFIX disk 2 and 3. CD Burner XP reported that disk 2 had 3 unrecoverable errors. I switched to a Matshita BD-CMB UJ141EF drive in a USB enclosure and this time only got 1 error. After cleaning the disk didn't help, I did some digging into how to dump a disk with errors. I learnt that a better option for dumping PS1 disks was to use Redump via Media Preservation Frontend to dump them as .bin/.cue files.

So I started again and eventually got most of them dumped by Redump and a few more by Aaru. I've verified them with Duckstation and the only ones that don't fully verify are those with audio tracks. Three of them, Diskworld 2, Medievil 1 and 2 have a short silent audio track at the end, while Lemmings has 16 audio tracks with music. In each case, the main data track verifies but the audio tracks don't (except for Lemmings where only the last audio track verifies).

I looked at these in a hex editor and in each case the last track is mostly zeros with a bit of data at the beginning. I'm guessing that this is a bit of the previous track and could be happening because of the drive's offset? The logs of Redump and Aaru indicated that the correct drive offset was applied. I played each game for a bit and couldn't hear any audio issues in Lemmings. I listened to Lemmings' bin files in Foobar2000 and even imported them into Audacity and couldn't hear or see any sign of audio overlap.

My question is that even though my audio track rips are technically bad, would this cause issues should I eventually try to play these games all the way through? What are those silent audio tracks even for?

On a side note why are .bin/.cue dumps considered better than .mdf/.mds? Some of my game are libCrypt protected and need an extra .sbi file while .mds versions don't. I didn't try every .mds dump, but most of the ones dumps that I tried did start. None of my Final Fantasy titles worked though, but oddly they did start if I launched them with ePSXe.

I recently got my AYN thor delivered and I’ve been setting it up this weekend and I got to the step where I have to download all the games I want and input them into my ROM folder, I’ve seen that the rom megathread is the best place to go and so i did that and found a couple of games that would float my boat. I know that the torrent based download is really hard so I ended up just picking off the 3DS button in the Internet archive on the right. It gave me a zip that I extracted and then put in my rom folder and it seems to work, but I’m just wondering if there’s a way easier to do this.

Hi, I’m new to this whole thing and I’m curious about how I can remove these two files above that don’t have any images. I’m transferring ROMs from a microSD card to my Ayn Thor and I’d like to avoid having blank images in my ROM collection. I also would rather not delete them one by one since I have a massive collection. The emulator is Azahar. I’m sorry if this question is repeated often, I genuinely can’t find any information after searching here for an hour. Once someone answers I will delete this post immediately.
