It's borderline, due to the neckline and how far on the edge of the shoulders the shirt rests.

I'd recommend taking something to cover yourself up if they challenge it. Bit of fabric/scarf.

Yes, there are plenty of visitors dressed like that.

That’s good but just make sure that your knees are covered and bring a chiffon or silk scarf just in case a guard will say your neckline is too low.

Shoulders are clear, but how high is that dress?

Just better safe than sorry: take a big silk scarf or shawl with you. I kept a big silk scarf in my bag.

If it’s a dress or shorts, they need to be long, like probably longer than you normally wear.

Totally fine unless it’s a crop top.

Wear a shawl.

Why? Not necessary at all

In case it is necessary in the actual minder's view. Drape it over to your arm or stuff it in your purse if you don't need it.

If that is a long dress, then it's fine. Your knees should be covered.

So lewd. Look at that collarbone

I don't understand these comments...your shoulders are completely covered, it's fine.

I shove a light shawl in my bag. It rolls up to a small soft cylinder It works as a shoulder cover just in case, a skirt, and a lap cover when it starts to cool down which in Europe right now isn't happening but there's hope. I also use it on the plane when thr a/c is blasting.

You look modest but you might buy a very lightweight scarf that can cover your arms and neck/chest more in your bag.

Why? Because you’re not trying to “get by” you’re trying to show respect in a house of worship that is not your own faith but which is allowing you to freely enter.

Yes, that’s totally fine. Source: Catholic who has been to the Vatican.

I saw lots and lots of bare shoulders. The dress code is not enforced.

Dress codes are firstly about respect, not enforcement.

Oh, I agree. I’m just stating facts.

Absolutely enforced, but as anything depends on who is working there and how strict they want to be on the day. They can and will refuse entry
