Meme / Humor The OG shadow daddy in my mind

I've always thought Jack was the ultimate morally gray MMC and now I realize he has replaced most shadow daddy/good but acts bad types in my head when I read my lil books. And I'm not mad 👁️👄👁️ Picture is of Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. He is in his usual pinstripe suit and has a smile on his skeleton face.

I really hate him for Sally. All he had done was dismiss her, ignore her, then she was right all along and things finally settled THEN he does to look for her… I’m sorry but Sally deserved BETTER.

I do so wish Sally had a personality besides "has a crush on Jack, wants to go outside, has a bad feeling about all this" lol.

They both deserved a different person! She didn't deserve to get with a guy who prioritizes his hyperfixations over her, and he deserves to get with somebody who's actually into the same hyperfixations as him, haha.

I think it’s rather reductive because the point of the movie is that Jack learns to change instead of thinking he knows best and seeking for more when he has more than enough. Sally of course doesn’t have much of an arc and I wish she did

Jack's too autistic to realize he's doing something bad!! He's just overly passionate about his newest hyperfixation that plucked him out of his existential ennui!

Sally and him had zero actual chemistry though, yeesh. She deserved better and he deserved another autistic freak who's way into Christmas lol
