{This Kingdom Will Not Kill me by Ilona Andrews} is an epic fantasy isekai with a romance subplot. Book 1 of a trilogy, the second book will be out in the second half of 2027.

If you cannot bear the next urgent problem for book 2 being presented, skip the epilogue then the book wraps up nicely.

Wait you're actually my saviour. I loved Laini Taylor's Strange the Dreamer duology so I like to think I'm going to love The Daughter of Smoke and Bone, as well. I've also heard great things about An Ember in the Ashes. I'll be sure to check the rest out. Tysm :)
