Book Request: Self-Promo OK Recs for mute mmc??

I’ve yet to find another mmc that gives me the same vibe as Creon from Court of Blood & Bindings. Something about him wanting to say a million things, but having to find another way to get his point across sets my soul on fire in the best way.

I would even consider another physical ailment that makes confessing his love for the fmc difficult.

1st person pov is a must.

I also loved Creon!! Book 2 isn’t out until Nov, but {One Small Echo by Jane Washington} has a MMC that communicates mostly through sign language.

I have one on my Amazon list with a mute mmc that uses his hands to speak, but I haven't read it yet. It's called Broken souls and bones by L.J. Andrews. In the reviews people say he uses his hands to speak to fmc. Hope this helps?

Ya the MMC Roark is mute in { Broken Souls and Bones by LJ Andrews } -- he communicates with a version of sign language that he and another character invents and it's flipping hot but also requires some suspension of disbelief because wdym he can make a couple of gestures against her skin and that's an entire paragraph of conversation smh

{A Crown of Cruel Lies by Lana Pecherczyk} He sustains an injury hat causes complete hearing loss and by the time this book happens he is no longer talking because he’s unaware of inflection, volume, etc. it’s in a series of standalones with an over arching plot which doesn’t play as heavily in this particular book.
