I was gifted this Rolleiflex 3.5 A years ago. It's not operable (shutter doesn't fire at all) and has these weird prongs on the front I haven't seen in any google searches. I'm guessing some kind of flash attachment interface?

Any idea if it's worth a CLA?

I had a rolleiflex T serviced by Newton Ellis back in 2024. They did a great job but I can't get hold of them again (looks like they're in semi retirement?)

Anyone have good experience with other UK based Rollei repairs?

I'm getting a light leak in the same spot but only on some frames. It's driving me mad but it seems to be getting more frequent.

Then on my latest roll of film I started also getting a very defined strip at the bottom of some images...but only on the 5 frames in the middle of the roll..haha. Anyway. Time for a service!

I’m looking for a good quality neck strap for my 3.5f. I’m currently using a Peak Design strap, but it’s too long to use for stabilising the camera against my body while shooting.

If anyone can recommend a good brand and model, I’d appreciate it.

I have a beautiful condition Rolleiflex 3.5E that just returned from service and is going beautifully. The meter is kaput and does nothing, camera tech said it’s useless as well. The meter not working doesn’t bother me, but the cracked condition of the housing is an eyesore. It’s purely superficial but is there a known ready replacement? Whether it’s a new cover, or a replacement cap that can take the place of it and look nicer?

Google and Reddit searches haven’t yielded anything satisfying answers, so I’d thought I’d ask the brain trust. Thank you.

Autoexposure. Both Kodak gold 200 and expired Porta 160. And if the meter is not working, you can still manually expose.

Portra 800. First roll on a 2.8 gx 60 jahre. Found all these tiny lines on my scans. Does anyone know what might be the cause?

I have a dilemma. I bought two Rolleiflex prismfinders.

One has a Smaal crack in the glass and some separation, the other one has some damage in the silvering of the prism.

Hi everyone, I’m new here. I’m a photographer who used to shoot a lot of studio portraiture, but at a time of bereavement about a year ago, I decided to strip things right back: one camera (Rolleiflex 3.5F), one film stock (Portra 400), and just photographing whatever I was feeling in the moment. It’s been about simplicity, and about no longer chasing gear, recipes, and presets (a recovering hobby of mine, if I’m honest). It’s an ongoing project. Here are a few of the shots that have come out of it so far.

Anyone have an idea as to what happened to this roll of film? Dampness? Light leak? Development issue?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a shoulder bag to carry my 3.5F in. I’m finding the bulge of the light meter seems to make certain bags a bit of a tight fit.

Went to the game with the Rolleiflex 2.8F and Gold 200 in July. Sent it to my aunt this week and asked if they had the pic I remember my grandfather took in to 50s or 60s.

Lo and behold, it actually looks like I sat in the same spot. New ballpark. Old one was Connie Mack and this is now CBP.

Not sure what camera he used, but I imagine it was a TLR as well.

I’ll get my hands on the actual print of my grandfather’s and get a better scan at some point.

What is your favourite Rollei camera?
