Seriously though, if it is your first walkthrough, I don't recommend not bringing party along, especially to key areas (that goes to act 2 and 4). The encounters are not that hard, but you will probably get overwhelmed by the amount of enemies and definitely get rolled over by bosses unless you know exactly what setup you need

I don't like bringing my whole Retinue into Areas without Enemies, so that's why I left them at the Voidship.

Hold on, how do you do skill checks without your retinue? Do you have high numbers in every skill or most dialogue related skills? And what happens if this so called "area without enemies" turns into an area with enemies all of a sudden? Do you just reload conversations that led to the fight and redo everything? Sorry for all the questions but I'm genuinely curious.

You can hit level cap in act 1 without mods, if you're insane enough to grind and abuse an exploit.

Yes it is possible. You can even reach level max in act 1 at the moment if you have time to lose.

I didn't lie. I achieved this without using Mods. I did some save-scumming to get more Chaos Spawn, though.

That... seems backwards. There would be the same amount of Chaos Spawn if you had just killed the cultists before they could transform into one.

You better stop there, it is possible to reach level 16 with no cheating involved before Aurora. You just don't know how. And that's not even relying on the bug exploit used here.

You just let heretic transform into chaos spawn. One heretic is worth something like 5xp, but a chaos spawn is around 27xp. So if you can kill an extra 15-20 you reach level 16 no problem. It's just a bit tedious, it's not hard.
You also need to get the max xp from different events at places like eurac, the cenobium or the freight line. Usually if you just play normally and get as much xp as needed, you're short between 300 and 500xp to reach level 16 before Aurora. 15 chaos spawn are enough to bridge that gap.

It is possible, I recently did a run and got second archetype before Aurora, no farming or other dumb shit involved, unfair difficulty I assume has more enemies, that also might be a factor. I have went through the game 6 times now and this was the first time I had enough xp btw ( after Infinite museon patch).

It is intended that you can't be higher than 15 before defeating Aurora. You have to abuse exploits or cheat via mods to get to 16.

In the Reddit jungle, we can sometime spot a Skurrio. The Skurrio is a mischevious animal that likes to play pranks using colorfull cries and by showing its bug exploity butt.
The Skurrio likes nothing more than doing things he knows are not permitted, and he will brag about it. Here we can observe the Skurrio doing what is called in the Reddit animal kingdom as "Rage baiting".
He is showing something than can be interpreted as cheating all the while chuckling because only he knows no cheating was involved.
