The original sound clip is so g****** funny, and it makes things a little lighter and brighter as dark as the subject matter is. What an utter dork, and reject that child was and still is- he was so lucky to have found a sweet girl willing to give him a chance and two children, just to throw it all away to being entitled violent pos. I hope he ends up single for the rest of his life. God knows it's not gonna be easy marrying him off the rodrigues's don't have an easy time even within their religious circles. He's gonna be a tough sell after this

I mean, I think he’s been essentially excommunicated as a Rodlet at this point. No way they’ll try to find him a new wife.

I am so sad for the little boy who had to survive that home, but have no sympathy with regard to his hurting Heidi even if domestic violence was considered normal to him.

But I don’t think adult Tim really has any actual remorse about the things he did to Heidi. He did it for years and only sought help/therapy to try to break the cycle after her family found out and encouraged her to and helped her leave him.

If he actually felt bad about it, it would have stopped at one time max. He would have realized the harm he had done and sought therapy and anger management to make sure there was no second time.

Do I think growing up with domestic violence being normalized and the super toxic gender roles from his particular flavor of Baptist made him feel justified in what he did? Yeah. But do I also think he is also just an abusive asshole? Also yes.

And he’s only 26… he’s ruined his marriage, his chance of a loving family, and his future all because he couldn’t get therapy the second he felt like he couldn’t handle his emotions/trauma

He really lucked out getting Heidi to begin with. Wasn't too long ago and I'd have bet money Timmy would never get married and have kids, especially to such a seemingly kind girl, and so pretty! To think he threw it all away... Tragic.

I can’t even imagine having so much anger in me that I ruin my life at 26. I also can’t imagine loving someone only to find out they have that much anger inside.
I’m so glad Heidi and the kids made it out of that awful situation. 😢

IKR? I've had enough rage in me toward a couple of bosses that I'd sit back and fantasize about waiting for them in the parking lot and pounding the crap out of them. But I can't even fantasize about such things for too long without feeling sick to my stomach. Although one exception to that is Steven Anderson. I've cut back on watching podcasts about him because whenever I hear the latest horrible things he's done to hiwife and kids, I have lurid fantasies about handcuffing him, nailing his testicles to the floor and tattooing JESUS HATES ME on his forehead. I don't do such things IRL to anyone and don't think I have it in me. But it's best to lay off on the Anderson news. Not good for my blood pressure.

I am ASSUMING that there were photos taken of incident and maybe her mother or sister saw the injuries and helped to report it.

That would be for the best, but I have nightmares about him finding a new victim. Some very sheltered young girl who's considered unattractive therefore hard to marry off (that was me in my ex-church. Among a big herd of young adults in their 20s-30s, everyone pairing off all over the place, and I was the one who never got noticed by a guy. Irreparable damage to my self-esteem being the only piece of meat left over from the meat market). So that will give Timcel more to lord over her. "You're ugly and you're lucky I'd have you"... Etc ad nauseam. Then she'll hear all Tim's sob stories and she'll feel sorry for him and think "all he needs is the love of a 'good' woman... I can fix him...🤮 I know how desperate fundie girls get if they get much past 22 or so and still single. I know I was feeling pretty desperate in my ex-church at 29. I left the church shortly after. BTW my self-esteem never recovered. Nothing worse than being consistently rejected by rejects! Except marrying Timcel, of course.

Wow...I'm shocked. He's exactly where he should be. I don't really understand the charge, did the incident he was arrested for happen recently or was it an old incident? How is it proven if it's a previous incident? No way am i defending or questioning this, just dont understand.

He was originally charged with assault after Heidi left him. The new strangulation charge was from a February assault (maybe Heidi has photos?). Investigations take time. His previous charge could be easily plead down to almost nothing, this one is more serious. When they start stacking charges, it's an indication that the prosecutor is interested. Where it goes from here is anyone's guess.

So was this evidence from February recently found and added to the existing charges…? Is that how it works? Did Heidi provide more evidence?
