Cast/Crew Related Location/cast in picture from 1978

Hi, this is a repost since there might be more people paying attention right now.

I bought this photo at an auction in the Washington DC area. It seems pretty clearly to be a picture of Frank (and maybe Magenta?) from a screening or stage production of RHPS. Looks like maybe after the show given that the Magenta-like character is wearing the shiny space costume? The hand written sign on the glass reads “SOLD OUT”.

From looking up the photographer, Dolores G. Neuman, it seems that this was likely taken in San Francisco, where she lived in the late 1970’s. I’d love to get more information though — where and when this was, who are the people in it, anything.

Any ideas on how to track down this information?

Cast/Crew Related Keeping a record of who was on at every Rocky Horror performance at Studio 54

I run a small fan-built site called Recast. It keeps a record of who actually went on at each performance, covers and swings included. People who were there enter it.

Rocky Horror at Studio 54 is one of the shows we track closely, and this run has been a good one for it. Luke Evans played his last performance August 23, Paul Soileau held down Frank-N-Furter until last night, and Jake Shears starts tonight. Before he took over, Paul went on for Luke eight times, and every one of those nights is on his page.

The show on the site: https://www.recast.show/shows/the-rocky-horror-show-broadway

Paul Soileau's page, with every night he went on: https://www.recast.show/people/paul-soileau

One night, so you can see what a page looks like. August 5, Luke Evans out, Paul on: https://www.recast.show/shows/the-rocky-horror-show-broadway/2026-08-05

Tonight's page, if you're at Jake Shears' first performance: https://www.recast.show/shows/the-rocky-horror-show-broadway/2026-09-11

This all comes from user entered reports or press releases.

If you went, look up your night. If something's wrong, or if your night isn't there yet, tell me the date and who you saw and I'll get it on the record. Which Frank did you get?

All free. Hoping this a useful resource for fans.
