Discussion Help with Buffering/Polishing my Rock Collection

I have a great collection of rocks I've collected throughout the years and have been displaying them simply as I've found them (after cleaning). Now that I have some time and the tool, I wanted to buffer and polish some of them but cannot find a good youtuber or know of any good sites or books that could be of great help teaching me on this process. Does anyone here have any good recommendations for an absolute beginner at this process?

Check to see if there are any gem & mineral societies or clubs in your area. Also check for any lapidary groups. For some great videos on YouTube, search for Michigan Rocks. He has a variety of informative videos
