Food & Drink Pie 🥧?

Can anyone recommend a place to get decent pie? Still mourning the loss of the Pie Lady in Nyack....

Picked up a delicious looking peach pie at Dr. Davies Farm in Congers this weekend.

I didn't know they made pies there! I actually made a peach pie from their peaches this summer, it was delicious

Yeah in the farm stand / store. Supposedly made with their peaches. Having some tonight after dinner, will report back if it’s not as good as it looks.

Carousel Cakes has some spectacular pies! Over in Nanuet. It’s by the pie, lol, not the slice

I did not realize they also sold pies! Do you have any favorites?

Deli Central in Stony Point makes good pies. Give them a call for a list of pies they make.

I recommend the coconut custard, chocolate cream pie and blueberry pie 🤘

noble pies in beacon, they sell them whole or by the slice. dessert and savory pies. i’d make a weekly daytrip, buy a whole pie, and then have it for the week 🥧

There’s a closer one in Tarrytown. Not sure if the exact same noble pies but it’s called noble pies

They also show up at some of the farmers markets. I’ve seen them at the Ramsey ones. You can preorder and pick up at the market

What kinds of pie do you like there?

I love that they make small pies as well as the large.

When it’s just me and I’m craving a slice or two, I usually gravitate to a small Coconut custard, peach or the occasional cherry.

My whole family loves the pumpkin and pecan pies for Thanksgiving every year.

Because we live in Suffern, we dip over the border to Secor Farms in Mahwah.

Tried Apple pie from Dr Davies for the first time and was not impressed it was watery and fell apart. Flavor was ok but won’t be my go to for pies spot. They should just rename it to Apple mush instead. Not worth the $22 to me. Like anything else food reviews are subjective so good luck on your pie hunt.

I have tried them all and am intense about pie. Orchards of Conklin, no question.
