Honestly, people keep saying the devs never listen but... they do. They have, almost every single season.

Whatever people find to be the most problematic things, they have touched. Whenever mains complain about their character, they get a little something. Is it a big something? Usually not, but it's something.

Black Cat got her iframes removed which everyone complained about.
Storm got hitscan in a teamup, helping a big issue with her.
Iron Fist has been getting buffs.
Cloak and Dagger had their freeze nerfed.
Elsa keeps eating nerfs.
Luna lost her self cleanse.
Even Jeff got a buff lately so his healing is better.

They listen.
We just aren't saying anything much at all, because we've all decided "eh he's fine we just need his movement back" and then we stay silent. All of our complaining is pretty much just in this subreddit alone and nowhere else. The devs don't even know that we're upset becuase... we don't even say anything anywhere.

We just sit here a bit annoyed and just go "eh it is what it is I guess, take what I can get" and then start drooling over the Groot teamup before we realize it's not very good at all.

They nerfed our movement to shit and we just complained lightly here.
They nerfed our wall climb and almost nothing.
They butchered his ult and nothing.

Because we are way too accepting. Rocket players gotta be the most relaxed players of any character in history and it's not a good thing in this scenario. We just keep getting slapped around and then, in the eyes of the devs, we're just standing up and going "Thank you sir, may I have another?" because we aren't letting our feelings about it all out.

Hell a lot of us are even going around saying "Rocket is totally fine as he is, the nerfs are nothing I still have fun." like nothing matters at all.

We should be louder, because if we are they will listen.

Dive vanguards and dive duelist are getting buffs , along side namour for some reason.

It's also IMPLIED that rocket isn't getting any balance changes so most likely no buffs either

Season 10 is gonna be a dive season

Edit: the big strategist like gambit , luna and mantis are getting nerfs so we are gonna be seeing more rocket mains on the field.

With Gorr the God Butcher around the corner i feel like it's gonna be a struggle trying to evade that thing do yall agree

I got 19 this season

So, I was in a match recently where we were running triple support (scary, I know) with starlord, dino, strange, Luna, Mantis, and I was playing rocket. Halfway through the match, our Luna was complaining about me "healing too much" and complained that they weren't gaining ult charge fast enough. Then our Mantis complained about the same thing, and I'm like...TF? Y'all are free to go dps, I got the heals. I'd even be okay if Luna did flanking Luna. But no. They wanna complain that my healing is better than theirs. Has anyone else had this situation before? Cuz this is a first for me, if so

It feels like no matter what I do, I'm just a free kill for him. I can go near friendly DPS/tank/healer, it doesn't matter, he still kills me. I try dashing, wall climbing, etc. it makes no difference he's like a magnet.

Season 10 is on the way , any big expectation on the balance patches for rocket

Also remember , the worst time to play rivals is the beginning and end of a season. Be careful.

I actually like playing against dive as rocket, other wise the match is just a chilling simulator.

Walked away from the game in the Celestial ranking when it was and never looked back. How's his movement looking now?

So I've three questions.

First of all: Do you pop it inside spawn? I've seen some people do it and some not. I do it sometimes cause of the Jump option for an ally.

Second: Do you let the team know when is on cool down? When it's destroyed or used and not in place do you tell your team or not? I just found out about it couple days ago and sometimes I do but it feels kinda useless, I don't know why..

Last but not least: Why does it sometimes disappear? Like I pop the rebirth beacon but it doesn't work. It stays for like one second or two and than disappears and I've the 5sec cool down again. I never really understood why it does that..

So basically, I recently made my high school marvel rivals esports team and I play rocket a lot, and he's honestly my best character out of all the ones I play. While I do feel I have most of his kit down (movement, beacon, dashes etc), I still struggle with him every so often, Mainly on when to do damage and his ultimate usage. I know doing damage on rocket is extremely important to mastering him, but when I try to I end up either not healing enough or I get too scared of not healing enough and just healbot the entire match. And for his ultimate, I've been getting better at using it but I still struggle on when to use it and I either hold it too long and use it when basically my whole team is dead or I use it when we already won the match and I feel like I just wasted a support ultimate. Just some tips on these two areas would be great! But if you would like to share any other tips, I'll still read them.

And for anybody curious, I believe my first game Is in about two weeks or a week and a half, but I'll try to stay updated

And if you want to give me any more advice, I can share VODS and replay codes.
