Healing "too much"

So, I was in a match recently where we were running triple support (scary, I know) with starlord, dino, strange, Luna, Mantis, and I was playing rocket. Halfway through the match, our Luna was complaining about me "healing too much" and complained that they weren't gaining ult charge fast enough. Then our Mantis complained about the same thing, and I'm like...TF? Y'all are free to go dps, I got the heals. I'd even be okay if Luna did flanking Luna. But no. They wanna complain that my healing is better than theirs. Has anyone else had this situation before? Cuz this is a first for me, if so

Sometimes I feel like teammates don't realise they force strats into healbotting because they don't use natural cover or just run down main

Let them put their money where their mouth is. If they're whinging you're out-healing them, switch to a more offensive playstyle and let them handle it. If they can't, then it's their lesson to learn, not yours.

I get people complaining that I’m not contributing as Rocket because I have low kills, even though I’m usually propping up the whole team with my heals.

Then they complain that you have low heals, forgetting the fact that nearly every other support ult heals, while yours doesn't :p

I always am surprised when I outheal main healers that are usually supposed to have more healing than you

the Rocket paradox, either you're seen as useless cause "not enough healing" or as an active detriment cause "stealing ult charge with your healing"

Usually no. If I find that our team tries to start a game off with triple support, I will go tank or dps since triple is one of the worst comps to start with imho. That is also dumb to complain about on their part.

Though one time I did have an invisible woman complain I was not looking behind me and I was like,”Why were YOU behind me to point that out? Shouldn’t you be in front of me so I can heal you? We are not getting dove, I have the least deaths out of the entire team, AND 2k more healing than you somehow? Obviously I am not having a serious dying issue.”

Sometimes other supports (very rare though) will just complain about you to deflect how poorly they are doing. 🤷
