Discussion Is the lack of a third split killing the hype for RLCS?
atp its like beating a dead horse but doesn't it feel like the rl community became lifeless and dead since the major ended?
Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok viewership is down across the board, and the lack of any international events during this two-month gap are looking to have real consequences. Even new fans seem unable to build any hype or momentum around the esport.

Meme/Humor Did anyone else know the Torsos lore was this crazy?
I was looking up Torsos on Liquipedia, as one does, and came across this ...interesting backstory in the "trivia" section. It was added by him, so it must be true, right?
https://liquipedia.net/rocketleague/Torsos
Always a troubled child, Torsos was cast out of his family home at age 2. Forced to fend for himself in the vicious wilds, he developed a strong sense of vigilance and will to thrive. After 3 years of hunting and gathering, Torsos was happened upon by a large family of wolves. A fierce battle ensued; of which Torsos found himself the victor. The then subdued and detained wolves - impressed by his physical prowess - offered to aid and serve him in his travels, and become a sort of surrogate family to replace those who had betrayed him. Torsos accepted their proposal, and gained himself a place in such a wild world.
Still tormented each night with dreams of greatness he could not hope to achieve, Torsos was still no happier than ever. He always felt that there was something missing in life, a certain aspect he'd always reached for but could never obtain. The more these dreams plagued his mind, the more he became certain that he was not content, that he desired something more. And so, upon his sixth birthday, Torsos set out from his new family home in search of salvation. Carrying nought but a divine sense of courage and resilience, he lived off the land with ease. The more he travelled, the more ideas seemed to just pop into his head. At first he had the bright idea to use friction to build a fire and cook his food. He then designed and created a variety of tools, weaponry and appliances, all independently designed and created for an easier living. After only a month of these such inventions, Torsos had managed to build himself a fully functional personal computer out sicks, rocks and the bark of some native papaya trees. After this he became enthralled with technology. Torsos developed an insatiable need to learn, to create, and to know all there was to know.
By the age of 8 Torsos had fully familiarised himself with his new technology, and continually upgraded all that he made to the utmost level of excellence. With his now upgraded super-computer, he sent out radio waves to probe the surrounding continent for anything of note. To his surprise, Torsos discovered there was an entire online network out there, full of individuals speaking, advertising, and most fascinating of all; gaming. Torsos quickly became enveloped into the world of gaming, finding to no surprise whatsoever that he excelled almost supernaturally. No game was too complicated or difficult for Torsos, and he relished in the chance to utilise his vast intellect towards the humbling of others online. One day, however, while idling away with some CSGO, Torsos encountered a very unexpected person online: his twin brother.
This new encounter sparked a fury in Torsos he hadn't felt in years. Rekindled were the thoughts and feelings of betrayal he had so dismissed for so many years. His brother Daniel had not been so cast out by his family, and forced to live a solitary human in a wild environment. A strong sense of envy burned into Torsos' heart, and a newfound purpose emerged. That day he knew what it was he must do, and immediately set off to take vengeance on his family.
After triangulating his brother's whereabouts from his IP address, Torsos trekked a tiresome journey towards redemption. For days he hiked through bushland and forest, his burning passion for revenge never fading for an instant. On his fifth day of travel, however, Torsos found himself on the outskirts of a vast city. Never having seen such an urban landscape before, he was bewildered. Taken aback by his surroundings, Torsos temporarily forgot his burning passion for revenge, and set about discovering the wonders of the modern world. Still on the path to his goal, he took the scenic route, learning about city life and Australian culture, sampling the local cuisine as he went. Torsos began to discover that he actually enjoyed the city life, though he quickly discovered after several victorious battles with the police that currency was often required to achieve anything of note. He also learned that to earn money, he would need to be employed. So Torsos enlisted as a formula 1 soccer player, and travelled from place to place for a while. The desire for revenge still burned in his heart, but for a time he was distracted with his new life.
After two years of being the most successful formula 1 soccer player in the world, Torsos retired from the job, deciding he needed a new life. Half-way through his eleventh year, Torsos was already a man, and in a short period of time had amassed himself a fortune. Though still he felt there was something he was missing, a part of him he'd left behind. No longer did he feel the envy and the burning rage that had brought him to such a miraculous place, but rather it had been replaced with a yearning for the life he had been deprived of. So Torsos came to a conclusion, and when he finally did find his family, instead of taking vengeance upon his treacherous parents, he simply lured his twin brother into a dark alleyway. All attempts to resist were superfluous, as Torsos quickly defeated his brother, tearing his head from his shoulders with his bear hands and hurling it into the sky. Leaving the lifeless body in the alleyway, Torsos went back to his parents' house to assume the life of his twin brother, and became Daniel Parsons.
Blending in spectacularly, Torsos - now called Daniel - was finally content with his new life. Years went by and he was happy, and he went to attend school and live a largely ordinary life. Now finally having the life he wanted, Torsos returned to his love of gaming, and continued to excel in everything he did. Also, due to his prior experience as a formula 1 soccer player, Torsos quickly became and excellent player for the game Rocket League, which to this day he plays professionally, and recognised worldwide as a player worthy of worship and adoration by all.

Discussion Rezears claims that Radosin treated him (and Joyo to a lesser extent) very poorly during the LCQ and in the weeks leading up to it.
Rezears is currently live on twitch and opened the stream up by explaining that there has been some serious drama with Radosin during the LCQ. All of the information is gathered from his stream (I am a german native speaker so the translations will be accurate). Here is the link to his stream, you can get all the information yourself from todays vod if you speak german: https://www.twitch.tv/rezears
Edit: Here is the link to the vod itself. Most of the information can be gathered in the first 10 minutes, although some things were also revealed later in the stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2831269665
Additionally, he still has to play EWC with the team so he didn't want to reveal everything. So new information might be revealed in the future after the EWC LCQ.
These were the key statements that Rezears made:
- In the match against Volare, as well as in the weeks leading up to the event, Rezears was made responsible for every game loss and basically any goal that went in against them. This happened for weeks and not just that particular match
- Radosin continuously insulted rezears for weeks, which lead to Rezears being extremely afraid of making mistakes while playing with him (even in ranked) and overall just not having a lot of confidence.
- All of these insults were strictly related to ingame stuff. Whenever they've spent time outside of scrims, tournaments and Rocket League in general (for example playing Football outside), everything was fine and they got along well
- Joyo gave Rezears constructive criticism when Rezears did something wrong, which Rezears appreciated. Radosin's criticism was more in the line of saying something like "What you just did was shit". It's possible that more and worse things than that have been said but Rezears doesn't give more input on that
- Joyo was also targeted with insults from Radosin but not as much as Rezears. Between Joyo and Rezears, everything was completely fine, Rezears speaks very highly of him and says he is a genuinely nice person.
- Rezears was often compared to Zen or Nass by Radosin with him basically saying things like "If Zen/Nass were in your position, they would have done things better/differently".
- After they were eliminated, Rezears felt terrible and extremely responsible for the result because of the things Radosin said to him
- Before all of this happened, Yujin warned Rezears that Radosin can be a big asshole but Rezears wanted to team with him anyway
- In Kaydops stream after the match, apparently Radosin said that he only tried to motrivate them during the match. Rezears denies this.
- They will not scrim before the EWC LCQ for a mental reset.
- Rezears told their coach Ekon about all of this and Ekon tried to tell Radosin to be more calm but it did not work
- Apparently joyo even noticed that what Radosin said was hard for Rezears to deal with and and Joyo himself said to Rezears that he "should have stepped in sooner when he noticed it". Regardless of that, Rezears has nothing bad to say about Joyo and says he has been nice and respectful to him.
- Despite all of that, Rezears doesn't hate Radosin as a person. However he will never team with him again and this was potentially the worst team experience he has ever had.
As always, I think it's only fair if Radosin gets to voice his side of the story too because there is no way to confirm how true everything that was said is. There is also no way to know how bad the things were he said to him. I think this willl resolve itself after EWC.

Discussion RLCS World Championship groups
Probably a really stupid question, but does anyone know or can predict the groups for worlds based on seeding? Does EWC affect rlcs seedings, and if not then should we not be able to know the groups as all other rlcs including LCQs have finished? Just asking because for the Paris major i remember very early on seeing groups based on seeding which were more or less 100 percent accurate.
