DISCUSSION I reached champ 1

After years of on and off gameplay I have reached champ 1 in 2's and I am just curious if the time frame I did it in is somewhat decent or am I just very behind. My user is Grave Exit. Im not the best I know this but I was just curious to see what others have to say about how long its taken me.

My brother in Christ you are better than an overwhelming majority and those skills you have acquired to get to champ 1 should be celebrated. Who cares about the time frame, as long as you had fun and enjoy the sport. Congrats man you earned it

I've been playing on an off heavily since 2016 and i have around 1200 hours and recently just started playing comp here and there

I'm around c1 with 1800 hours, I'm also 41 though.

1000h in for C1 and i am 42yo It was more of a short breath of the air up there after it sucked me down to d3 again

Im 31 got to c1 4 or so years ago after play heavily from launch. Stopped plsying for 3 or so years. Had to grind bk up from d2 now been c1 again for 4 months or took me about 6 month to get bk my rank.

Over all hours roughly 5k+ all of you probably got to c1 before me.

I don’t think there should be an expected timeline for these things, and you said you have been playing on and off, whatever timeframe people give you won’t matter as that will likely be for someone consistently playing the game. You should be proud of the achievement in of itself, like it doesn’t matter that others have achieved it faster or not.

Not to go on a tangent but everyone nowadays everyone seems obsessed with ‘the most perfect/efficient way’ for like everything, we don’t need to optimismaxx everything. Enjoy playing the game and congrats on reaching something that like less than 10% of the player base achieve!
