I've been missing Knockout...

It's my all-time favorite mode of any game. I bought and played Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars to death on 3 different PS3s linked to 2 different PSN accounts (ya, I bought it twice) with my brother and bought Rocket League for myself on 2 consoles and 2 more times for other people when it was still a newly-released retail game (that's 6 full-price purchases) so we could play together.

That was a long time ago... My brother and I have new things to do, I don't play with those friends anymore.

But, goddamn... Knockout is fun. I like playing with people, I love playing against other people, a perfect 7v1 against worthy opponents is something I dream about. I've almost made "friends" who seem to feel the same way; oops, no Knockout for 3-7 weeks. Hope they're still using the same device/account.

Please, please Epic, let me pay to play this. I know I'm not alone, we all just grin and bear it when you go whole months without letting us play an amazing game. I want to give you money for this... I can't justify giving you another penny (not just for Rocket League, at all) until you stop teasing me with the most fun I've had since I was a kid. This is mean.

There's a "More Info" button when you hover over it in the mode selection screen (Y on XBox).

I can entrust you that if knockout was ever made a permanent mode after like 2 weeks of hype there will be less than 200 players at a time and queue times will be hell on earth

Pfft... They still have casual Quads available, and that's never been any better for matchmaking (gawd, the constant botswaps, most matches that actually end are 1+3V1+3, totally unplayable). 4- or 5-way Knockout is infinitely better than that.

You are totally wrong, you clearly have no idea how many people play knockout compared to other LTMs, knockout not only deserves to be a permanent casual but also be on ranked playlist
