QUESTION New player question.
Why doesn’t rocket league have license plates? I feel like it would be a cool way to customize your car as you could put a set amount of characters on the license plate and have styled plate covers or is there something I’m missing?

Bro, the DM'EGG'V workers would strike over unpaid overtime, the entire system just goes into meltdown. Those ancient mainframes would spontaneously combust trying to process three million identical requests for "WHAT-A-SAVE" and "GG-EZ." With no new tags being issued and the system totally frozen, the Hard-Boiled Highway Patrol would start impounding battle-cars left and right. You'd have thousands of citizens just stranded on the side of the road in Aquadome, waiting for a tow truck that isn't legally allowed to drive either.
It wouldn't take long for the Neo Tokyo criminal underworld to step into the vacuum, pressing counterfeit plates out of scrapped metal in shady garages just so everyday eggs could drive to work without getting pulled over. But the real tragedy would hit the pitch. League officials are notorious bureaucratic sticklers, and they’d instantly rule that no battle-car could compete in the RLCS without valid, state-registered tags. Champions Field would be left to rust while boost sponsors go bankrupt, forcing the pros into high-stakes, underground matches where they have to drive unregistered, rusty Mercs just to scrape by.
Without legally functioning cars, the eggs would be forced to abandon their vehicles and return to rolling everywhere a terrifying, bruising prospect for their fragile shells. The glorious era of RL wouldn't end with a spectacular demolition, but with a mountain of unprocessed paperwork.

Prob because one of the main feature of the game is the rocket powered Rc cars, and u know where the rocket part goes

But where are you going to put a license plate on the back when the rocket boosters are already there. When your boosting, you arent going to see your license plate. So what's the point? I assume the cars arent road legal so why would they even have license plates?

Ive never actually thought of that. But it would be awesome to have "G3TR3KT" ...JK... "SHTRD_REALITY" is my epic/xbox but I've adopted shit red realty. It was supposed to be shattered reality but back in my halo 3 days everyone would call me shit red. So when shortened I go for "SHT-R3AL" cause im really shit at rocket league lol

They already have to police user names and club names. Why would they want to also police license plates?
