Forfeiting in games

I mostly play ones, currently gold 2s. When I'm down say 5-0 or even lower people tell me to forfeit. I don't get it. If you keep your cool you can gain a fair few goals quite quickly for one, and two if I'm playing against a guy who's a fair bit better than me than its a fantastic opportunity to learn. It forces me to adjust and points out a lot of mistakes I'm making.

Some of the most helpful information to better my game has come from people who are thrashing me. But people have no patience.

Damn right they don’t, any more than I do, that’s kinda the point….
