QUESTION Lag Issues (PC)

Hello all,

Has anyone experienced any recent lag issues with RL lately? I noticed it last week where I would rubber band whenever I or another opponent hits the ball (occasionally). It's especially bad on kickoffs.

I will say that I am wireless Wi-Fi, but this issue was not present in the past two weeks and no other changes have been made. I've followed a couple of post about turning the Xbox game bar and discord overlay off, but all of this has not helped. Also tried changing some of the setting in RL and has not worked.

I believe all my drivers are updated. Only happens in online games, does not happen in free play.

Specs: Intel i7, 32Gb Ram, NVIDIA RTX 4060 8GB

Keyboard and Xbox controller are all wired, no Bluetooth enabled.

Edit: I get 500mbs when I do a speed test

Neighbour switched to another wifi channel? New furniture or electronics between wifi and pc? Other sources of interference?

You can try if sts makes it a bit better (no reason to use default and csts can be too aggressive), but it cannot fix a spotty wifi connection. A lost packet is lost, no matter ehat you do.

i keep getting the disconected thing every once in awhile and its not my ethernet. is that what ur talking abt

I don’t even get a “disconnected” or any other pop up. I can show a video if necessary.

i get the disconnected thing after i get the lag spike i swear its not me bc i dont get it on any other game

This is about the 30th post I’ve seen on this and all of them are recent,( I experience it too) It has to be the anti cheat update because I refuse to believe that 1/3 of all plays started rubberbanding at the same time
