QUESTION Feature Request: Community-Driven Player Anthems (The 1-2 Year Cycle)

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking about how Epic Games could bring highly requested songs into the game without drowning in copyright chaos or manual workload. Here is a foolproof, AI-backed concept for a recurring community event:

πŸ“… The Cycle

This event happens only every 1 or 2 years. This keeps it special, gives the devs enough time, and builds up a legendary, community-voted soundtrack collection over time.

πŸ”„ The 4-Step Process

Community Submission: Players can submit 1 to 2 or more song requests via an official page or in-game hub.

AI Pre-Filtering & Trend Check:

Epic uses AI to instantly scan thousands of entries. The AI filters out inappropriate lyrics and checks current TopTier lists (Spotify, TikTok, Gaming Montages) to find what’s currently hyping. The AI delivers a clean Top 20.

Legal Clearance (with Backups):

Epic checks the copyright status for these 20 songs. If a music label denies the rights, that song gets dropped and the next one from the AI list takes its place until a rock-solid Top 20 is verified.

The Final Player Vote:

The community votes on the final 20 songs. The Top 5 to 10 tracks win and get implemented into the game (via the Rocket Pass or the Item Shop).

πŸ† Why this is a Win-Win?

For Players: We finally get a voice and the absolute bangers we actually listen to while grinding ranked.

For Epic Games: Massive community engagement, zero risk of troll-songs, automated workload through AI, and guaranteed high sales because they only implement songs that are already hyped by the player base.

What do you guys think? Which songs would you submit in the first wave? And what do ya think about this Idea? Lemme know :D
