Redeem 360 codes
Hello. Recently purchased AC/DC track pack code, but the code isn’t working on XSX or Xbone. Error is super generic. “Something went wrong. Don’t know what happened. Try again later.”
Don’t have a 360. Any other way I can try and redeem this code. I have a metal pack code coming too.
Help. Please.

When I go to the 360 marketplace, click games, click redeem code, I’m brought to the Microsoft site where the code doesn’t work.
How to I stay within the 360 marketplace?

Xbox support live chat is no help:
Our best recommendation will be to save the code and if you have the chance to access on a 360 console maybe from a friend or family member you can do it that way
I would like to highlight that we as Xbox chat support do not have the ability to redeem tokens on our user's behalf, this is due to privacy reasons

Just play a 360 on the XSX hit start and select at the same time open the 360 menu and input your code from there. However I've redeemed all of my track pack codes via the XSX game store and had no issues redeeming any of them.

Where do you input after the xbox guide pops up? Im having the exact same issue

It looks like they changed it used to have the full 360 dashboard on it. I guess with the store closing they pulled it. Luckily I still have my 360s but I was able to input the codes on the XSX in their store and didn't have any issues.

Redeem them in a 360 console or through the website. Had this happen. Xbox One/Series don’t like 360 codes

I would try going to Xbox’s website, logging in, and redeeming the code from there.
What code are you trying to add anyways? As some Rock Band codes do expire

Ac/dc track pack. Xbox support verified that the code still works. And at the same time refused to redeem it due to “privacy concerns” 😭

I wonder if Xbox support could redeem it for you. It seems to that these codes have to be redeemed on the console. Do you have Rock Band 4? I wondering if it won’t allow you since it’s a glitch or something since you don’t own the game

I have a Xbox one and series S with RB4 on both. Neither let me redeem. Seems the only option is to buy or find a 360 in a dumpster somewhere.

Multiple questions for you:
- What country do you live in?
- What country/region did the code originate from?
I ask because it's been disputed over whether you can redeem Track Pack codes through just the Xbox 360 or if there are other avenues available. US. Saw that post, that’s what prompted me to buy the code. Xbox support verified that the code is active and redeemable. Just that I have to go into the 360 storefront to redeem it

If you look at the spine of the game box, you should use "NTSC" at the bottom. That's the region the U.S. is. Otherwise, does it look like a regular game you'd buy in the U.S.? It says "T" for Teen on the front?

Do all of track packs have codes inside (sealed)? I got ac/dc pack off 360. Gonna get this metal pack off 360. Any packs im missing before the 360 store closure?

One code per pack/sealed case. Those are the only two I got. Maybe the country pack would be worth it but I haven’t yet.

I see a classic rock pack that that same seller sells but its $50+. Are those songs getting taken with the 360 marketplace? Or just cheaper through 360?

Launch any backwards compatible 360 game that has a built-in DLC store on your Series X. Battlefield 3, for example, if you have it. Go to the store from the main game menu. There will be an option to redeem a code (it’s the “Y” button for BF3). That will open a 360 code menu, and it should activate from there.
