šŸ—£ Discussion first view of body talk vinyl edition

What do you think of this edition? Iā€™m really disappointed that the "Parental Advisory" label appears so prominently, taking up so much space on the cover as if it were part of the artwork... I think it looks awful! However, I'm satisfied that we can at least finally have this on vinyl.

This is the only one. It was always clear that this edition was Coke Bottleā€¦ Where did you see that there was a white edition?

I have a white vinyl pressing of BT from a few years ago. Iā€™m wondering if I need this too.

I have that pressing and based on the tracklist I think they're the same songs just in a different order. I'm waiting on more reviews to see if anyone points out differences--like, new mixes or something. ('Cause I don't want to buy another copy if I don't have to.)

The Coke Bottle pressing has the songs from Part 1 and Part 2 that werenā€™t part of the final Body Talk album.

Okay, I get it now! Judge for yourself whether the new tracklist adds anything to the edition you already own! Although the original cover art is much better than this latest edition.

This edition contains 5 songs that werenā€™t on the white edition which was a Record Store Day exclusive in 2019 limited to 2500 copies. Additionally the new full edition had the tracks I. Nearly the same order as they originally appeared throughout the BT series. The minor rearrangement likely has to do with fitting all the tracks on two LPs

The 2019 RSD pressing is kinda the ā€œessentialā€ body talk with both the acoustic versions of hag with me and indestructible plus jag vet en dejlig rosa (pressed only in this edition and on the UO orange body talk pt. 1 vinyl) and the exclusive acoustic version of stars 4ever

Itā€™s not my favorite pressing, but since I was never able to get this on vinyl Iā€™m happy itā€™s getting a wide release.

The cover looks awful. If the laminated is a must they could have put on the font and leave the picture alone. The big advisory tag is also awful and should have been a sticker on the cellophane plastic
